Guest Grand Slam Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Ok, here goes... my very first card ever. SWF Smarkdown! - January 17, 2003 Live from the Joe Loius Arena in Detroit, Michigan! Matches are due at 5pm Eastern time, and again, no extensions without a damn good reason. Send all marked matches and promos to : Suicide King Singles Match Xero v. Taylor Nicholas Thompson, "TNT" An old standby of the SWF takes on the returning TNT (from a promo that shpuld be up any time now) in what is sure to be an opener to bring down the house! Rules: Standard rules, DQ/Countout in effect. Send to: Grand Slam Word Limit: 4000 Singles Match CIA v. Tod deKindes Tod is looking for an ICTV shot, CIA is looking for a challenge before going for the Tag Belts next show. This is a natural... Rules: Standard Rules, DQ/Countout in effect. Send to: TheBostonStrangler Word Limit: 4500 Singles Match Perfect Bo v. Stryke Another returnee is looking for a little tune-up before he goes after the massive HVT. Stryke gets a great chance to get the upset win here and show his quality. Rules: Standard Rules, DQ/Countout in effect. Send to: chirs3 Word Limit: 5000 Triple Threat Hardcore Gamers Title Match Judge Mental © v. Michael Craven v. Annie Eclectic Judge wrested the title away from Craven on Monday, and Craven didn't take long demanding his rematch. But, Annie won a #1 Contender's Match (theoretically...) the same night. How do we solve this conundrum? Simple. Rules: Hardcore Rules apply, all three competitors in the ring at the same time. Send to: TheBostonStrangler Word Limit: 5500 Singles Match Mak Francis v. Tom Flesher In a very short time, these two will lock up in a titanic struggle for the Tag Belts. So, to pass the time, the Commissioner has booked them against each other. Hopefully, this will rub off and get them really, really mad at each other come Wednesday... Rules: Standard Rules apply, DQ and Countouts in effect. Send to: Grand Slam Word Limit: 5500 Triple Threat ICTV Title Match Orochi © v. Frost v. Danny Williams Both Frost and Williams won #1 Contenders matches on Monday. Tonight, they get their shot. Will the two M7 members be able to bring down the mighty Orochi? And if they do, who gets the title? Rules: Triple Threat Rules apply, all competitors will be in the ring at the same time. Send to: Suicide King Word Limit: 6000 Non-Title, No DQ Match H-Ville Thugg v. El Luchadore Magnifico The Commissioner is a little fed up with Thugg's new "buddy-buddy" attitude with ELM. He hopes this brutal match will beat the good vibes out of them. Rules: We don't need no stinkin' rules... Send to: Suicide King Word Limit: 6000 And there we are... This is the final card. I wanted to give myself some room to change since there was a match not posted when I wrote the card. If Xero had won, I needed to change the HCG match.
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Singles Match Xero v. Taylor Nicholas Thompson, "TNT" An old standby of the SWF takes on the returning TNT (from a promo that shpuld be up any time now) in what is sure to be an opener to bring down the house! Rules: Standard rules, DQ/Countout in effect. Send to: Grand Slam Word Limit: 4000 Yeah *cough* any minute now, as soon as I finish it up and have Frost approve it... Anyhow, how did I just KNOW that I would be facing Xero?
Guest midnight_burn Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 I must be the returnee welcome commitee, first Xstasy now Perfect Bo. Lets see if i can make it win #2, though against Bo that's easier said than done.
Guest HVilleThugg Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Wooooo!! Good main event!! Da "HVT vs ELM Part 5" H
Guest El Luchadore Magnifico Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Non-Title, No DQ Match H-Ville Thugg v. El Luchadore Magnifico The Commissioner is a little fed up with Thugg's new "buddy-buddy" attitude with ELM. He hopes this brutal match will beat the good vibes out of them. Rules: We don't need no stinkin' rules... Send to: Suicide King Word Limit: 6000 Holy crap! Awesome.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 In a very short time, these two will lock up in a titanic struggle for the Tag Belts. So, to pass the time, the Commissioner has booked them against each other. Hopefully, this will rub off and get them really, really mad at each other come Wednesday... Ahahaha. Best match description ever. This card looks solid--a little light on purpose throughout the undercard, but the upper half of the show looks solid. Thugg/ELM part 5 should be the frickin' bomb, and I really hope both of them write. My only criticism? Two triple-threats in one night is a bit much. I think the card would look more balanced if one were elimination-style. Solid!
Guest Ace309 Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 You know, I LOVE working with Mak.
Guest CED Ordonez Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Excellent debut booking show for the GS. I'm not even sure if that even makes sense. *finds a good DDR song to bleed to*
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Why post the card if it's subject to change until tomorrow afternoon? No one can start writing. I guess we can start thinking about our matches, but if you change a match then it's back to square one. I also agree with Edwin that one of the triple threat matches could have been elimination, but I like the idea of the contrasting of hardcore and straight wrestling and like both just as booked. So I prefer my match to stay the way it is. Question though, being "triple threat rules" does that mean all three are in the ring at the same time or you have to tag in and out? I hope it's not tag rules as I find that particularly retarded, why would I tag out and possibly lose the match? Nice card for what you had to work with and it gives the talent a lot of room to build and develop storylines. Hopefully we will all use it.
Guest Coffin Surfer Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Ugh, a Triple Threat match. The only thing more painful than watching one, is writing one.
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Ugh, a Triple Threat match. The only thing more painful than watching one, is writing one. Or having Frost drop you on your head. Either way, really.
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 NOTE: Xero... I'm posting new stats up soon, but as for now just sort of go off of the current ones, I suppose.
Guest Tod deKindes Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 I'd figure triple threat would be All Three In The Ring.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Yeah, since the hardcore match is, but we just had that four corners match which was tags, so I wasn't one hundred percent sure. Wanted to have it clarified.
Guest Muzz Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 I can't mark my match, so someone else will have to take it.
Guest Grand Slam Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 I clarified the rules for the ICTV 3Way, changed the marker for the CIA/Tod match and cleaned up some spelling errors. Any other questions?
Guest Powerplay Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Triple Threat Hardcore Gamers Title Match Judge Mental © v. Michael Craven v. How do we solve this conundrum? Simple. Rules: Hardcore Rules apply, all three competitors in the ring at the same time. Send to: TheBostonStrangler Word Limit: 5500 Kick ass match here for me to write. If I win, I may be back in my old "First run in the JL" mode again with the ideas and such. If I lose... well, I don't want to consider that an option right now .
Guest Powerplay Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Oh, BTW: Opening promage! Whoo! I called it first!
Guest Suicide King Posted January 14, 2003 Report Posted January 14, 2003 Oh, and just so everyone knows there will beon additional show after this one before Clusterfuck. So everyone pace yourself correctly.
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 Oh, and just so everyone knows there will beon additional show after this one before Clusterfuck. So everyone pace yourself correctly. Didn't we decide to do it mid-Febuary? It seems a bit soon to have it like, in just less than two weeks...
Guest Suicide King Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 As a matter of fact we did not. I would like to remind everyone that Clusterfuck is the least storyline driven PPV of our year. there will be two matches, three at the most in addition to the battle royale. not every storyline needs to be resolved at a PPV. Use this as an opportunity to do something big with your storyline, and work toward the next PPV.

Guest HVilleThugg Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 Wow...that actually makes perfect sense. However, we may want to look at the fact that there will be fewer shows before ALL of our PPVs...not just this one, althuogh this one was impressively short. Da "just a thought" H
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 i am yet to sleep for more than 30 consecutive minutes since i woke up on monday morning...i cant guarentee a match...im trying though - Taylor "Help... Me..." Thompson
Guest HVilleThugg Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 Don't be gay TNT. Don't be gay. Da "TNT is gay" H
Guest Tod deKindes Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 Mental note: Tell Thugg all about Brick.
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 ...Die. I'm trying, fuckers.
Guest Ace309 Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 You sure are, Trey. You sure are.
Guest Suicide King Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Just so everyone knows, it looks like this show will be going up a little after midnight as apparently a few people had really good reasons for extensions, and like many people I have plans on Fridays. The card for the last show before Clusterfuck will be up then. PM me any booking requests.
