Forgive Me for saying so, but...

Two things that I actually really liked...three, really:

1) RVD eliminates Batista. I'm an RVD mark. Sue me.

2) Jericho is getting a build-up. And I think that the whole deal with Michaels is thus: JR made a point of highlighting how not only did Michaels outlast the rest of the field back in the day, but Bulldog (the No. 2 guy) was right there with him. I have a mild suspiscion they might play that in reverse, with Michaels actually (gasp) giving Jericho "The Rub."

3) The Hurricane and Raven on RAW again. Nice :)

I like the Hurricane as much as anyone else, but his match with Richards was pretty awful, and same goes for Raven and Hardy. I mean, yeah, I guess you can place some blame on the other guys in the ring, but damn, seeing those matches certainly didn't make me want to see more of Raven or Hurricane.

RAW really seemed like a chore to watch tonight. Aside from seeing Shane and Raven on RAW nothing else seemed good.

There was no reason to have HBK run in at the end. They could have faded to black after Jericho picked #2.

You mention JR building up the whole HBK winning from #1 thing, but JR botched that whole thing by forgetting that HBK lost the WrestleMania match that year.

I like that they're making Jericho seem a little stronger (would the pussy champion Jericho actually WANT to go the distance?) but RAW for the most part almost bored me to sleep. I didn't think last week's episode was great but in my opinion... it was a hell of a lot easier to watch than this week's disaster. This is the first time in a long time where I actually felt the exact same way as the live crowd... bored to tears

Raw was alright....better than last week's snoozefest. The only highlights of this Raw was really the 30 days Vince/Shane/Bischoff angle and Jericho/HBK having a slow build for Mania.

But that was about it, oh well.

Raw sucked...and I hate when I can call the order of elimination in a match like that...Kane first, cause no one cares about Kane and it give the heels a 2-1...Batista second, cause no one cares about Batista, and RVD third cause Jericho's gonna obviously take the #2 spot.

BAH!

And Raven the Hut better get his masterpiece going soon...I can't stand many matches like that.

And why is #1 the big deal?! #2 is just as big, it's not like they have an advantage on #1, if anything they're disadvantaged, cause #1 can stomp them while they get in the ring.

Ugh, people are so hung up on HBK hate here lately that it amazes me. Not too long ago, everyone wanted him back.

It's called trying to build up an angle, for a pay off. This was the last show before the PPV for RAW, the heel just wormed his way to a victory and said what he wanted, that being #2 in the Rumble to hopefully show up the face, HBK.

HBK had to come out to put his foot down on that situation, to symbolicly say that HE is still the showstopper, and to show that he still has what it takes. He comes in, Jericho almost "eliminates" him, as he does his pull back into the ring, and comes in and tosses Jericho out, just being symbolic of what's happened in the past, and showing the fans what they want to see (yes folks, believe it or not the casual fans WANT to see HBK overcome Jericho, that's the storyline, that's what they've been led to want, and DO juding by the reaction from said crowd).

Come the Rumble, the fans will be WANTING to see what they saw happen on RAW, but in the end the heel will prevail, it's just the way this will work out. I'm not saying Jericho will win the Rumble, but he WILL keep HBK from winning it, thus furthering their feud for WM. It's the way things go people, it's a textbook storyline, and nothing more.

so.. does Sean O'Haire want me to cheat on my wife, or have sex with him?

or both?

or does he want me to buy a hooker?

On my God, my cousin looked at me after that and said "so, is Sean O'Haire offering me man sex!?" and I laughed my fucking ass off.

I think this will be a type of "Satan" gimmick, and each week or so for a while, we'll see a different type of promo like that, trying to get people to do a different sin every week. My cousin said a great name for him would be...

Sean "The Devil's Advocate" O'Haire

...and I quite like that myself, I just wish they could get The Sinister Minister to manage him!

Why in the hell did they make Raven cut his hair? Arrrggghhh.....

I know Shane McMahon gets a lot of support by the smarks, but I am sorry, I can't stand the bastard and am really hoping he does not become the Raw GM.....Steph as the smackdown GM is BAD ENOUGH, we don't need ANOTHER mcmahon on the TV......

Triple H/Steiner will be a horrible failure if Steiner does not go over.

I was hoping Jericho would do the "heel" thing and pick #30, but as soon as Jim Hoss...ermm, Ross said, "picking #30 would be the most logical thing" I let out a huge groan.

1:30 (or whatever the match length was) isn't exactly conducive to building an entertaining match...

Not everyone. And now it's more evident why they switched to 60 second intervals this time around. Fucking invalid. I hope Jericho potatoes his Jeebus-fearing ass.

As for O'Haire, I wasn't really paying attention to the TV, and when his spot came on, I thought it was one of those Apple "Switch" commercials, until I actually saw his face. I'm intrigued, as I'd never heard him talk before, and he seems somewhat competent, although his crazy looking face throws it off a little. Wait and see...

And thank god for PlayStation 2. Everytime I hear "Time to play the game...", well, you can figure out the rest... ;)

Hurricane and Stevie actually work really well together, at least that's what I saw the last two matches they had. Seeee, it pays to watch Heat, folks! I know they had a match on a regular Heat, and one on a PPV. Hold on, let me get out my handy dandy notebook....

Okay, their first match was on the Heat that Lita was announced as the new commentator. If I'm not mistaken, Stevie won that.

Their second match was the Heat right before No Mercy. And if Stevie won the first, that means Hurricane won the second.....or vice versa.

Who, me? I've been an HBK anti-fan since back in the day when he Kliq'd his way into the Main Event with his over-the-hill non-talent weasel friends.

And a potato would be no harsher than what Matt got from Bob Holly on TE3. Be glad I didn't wish a Bradshaw on him.

Actually, when I saw the Sean O'Haire promo, it immediately reminded me of Fernando Martinez and "Fernando's New Beginnings" from the video game Grand Theft Auto 3. Which would make him basically a pimp, claiming to be an "exotic marraige guidance counselor" who "brings the passion back to married life" by setting the husband up with prostitutes and, in some cases, helps the wife "find a new beginning herself." Now, if only he could do the obviously fake latin accent, I'd be hecka marking out.

And thank goodness the WWE is finally taking a moral stand! This time around, unlike with "The Godfather," the pimp character is going to be a heel. I feel clean and moral inside while watching Raw now. Well, sorta. :P

i didnt think it was "so bad" but heres the problems

1) ref strike - didnt they do this not too long ago? I mean if you want to do something with the refs do an NFL referee controversy satire or something

2) Vince's big announcement in reality was "watch TNN tomorrow". I mean sure it turned into something else (storyline wise) but geez he came back for that??

3) admitting that the show sucks. again. why wouldnt the average fan or viewer just stop watching for 30 days and then watch again? Because thats when its supposed to "turn around".

4) Steiner having HHH to his undies and then saying hes just getting started. Thats a scary visual..in a lot of ways

5) Raven has lost whatever look he had..to me at least. He looked like Rodney from Mean Street Posse

6) speaking of saying your show sucks and Raven. "exiled to Heat"?!? I think the better idea would have been to say how prestiguos Raw is and he hasnt been on Raw period. How stupid do the people who watch Heat feel when you make it Siberia?

7) okay i see that picture of who is in the rumble from raw finally.. let me freeze frame it and figure out whos there on my VCR

so i think it had the same amount of "bad points " it has just about every week

I don't feel stupid at all, actually. In fact, the last few weeks of Heat have been better, in terms of matches, than the Raw itself. Now how pathetic is that for WWE?

I agree. Raw's matches were positively shitty. And Lance Storm vs. Booker T could have gone somewhere, but the motherfucking Dudleyz get a title shot they don't deserve and NOW HAVE TO FUCK UP THE MATCH?!

Booker T should have kicked their asses for pulling that shit. If they had to interfere couldn't they have just let it go a bit longer and 3D'd Storm? Asses.

Of course, the Steiner-HHH shit needed more time. Is there a wrestling fan alive who isn't LESS inclined to want to see the match after 3 weeks of homoerotic head games?

Yeah, and you notice that neither of the guys did a single bench press? I'd rather have seen that than the strip show we got. Oh, but how dare I say such a thing? We all KNOW that seeing those two pose and strip each other will grab ratings! And if it doesn't....hey, then it's all Coach's fault, bah gawd!

On a side note, am I the only one who thinks Steiner sounds like Randy Savage?

Yeah--would it have killed them to have a fake weight or barbell dropped on one of the guy's faces? Instead of having to see HHH in his skivvies? I was hoping for Steiner to crush his trachea again with the barbell. :P

I dub this post "What the Fuck?" (WTF)

I really don't know what to think anymore. I have been really excited for the Royal Rumble for the past couple of weeks, simply because it is the Royal Rumble. Monday night's episode of RAW made me consider not ordering it. Actually, I still don't know if I'm going to get it or not.

I like the Dudley Boyz. They are my second favorite tag team of all-time, and current favorite tag team. My favorite of all-time is the Micheal Hayes & Terry Gordy version of the Freebirds. Anyway, I have no interest to watch the Dudleyz on WWE T.V. They shouldn't be faces. They shouldn't be sucking up to Vince McMahon when Vince is usually the top heel in the company. WTF? They shouldn't be feuding with Storm & Regal.

That women's match was awful. What a way to start a RAW. The opening match is supposed to get the crowd ready for the night.. not blow every other spot and put the crowd to sleep. WTF? The best part of the match was hearing J.R. give Steven Richards new Double Arm DDT a name seeing as how it is his finisher now. "Stevie-T." Works for me. One of the only highlights of the entire night. Why did the Hurricane make the save? So now The Hurricane & Trish are going to be together, or are we just going to have a mixed tag next week?

I like the part where it shows Steiner warming up his biceps for a bench press competition backstage. WTF? Them Jim Ross tried to build it up! I mean, we all know that Steiner has big arms. We get it. Having big arms doesn't mean that you can bench though. Then we get to watch Steiner strip HHH to his briefs? Great. Does the WWE realize that the viewing audience is predominatly male?

That main event was terrible. The entire slow show build up to a slow horrid ending. The main event, was a 4-way Rumble. WTF? How long could it possibly take? There was no reason for anyone to care about that match whatsoever. We knew that Y2J would win it & pick #2. We knew that Kane would go out first. We knew that the last two men in the ring wouldn't both be heels. WTF was the point? Seriously.

Why the fuck did Vince McMahon get announced last week on RAW? Why did he get a twenty minute promo on RAW Monday night? He didn't even fucking announce anything! "I came out here to announce something about the 10th anniversary show, but blah, blah, blah *drops mic*" WTF?

My biggest complaint of the night: Raven. WTF? Raven has been my favorite wrestler for many years now. I accept his decision to constantly change his look, and I'm ok with that. I even accept the WWE to not use him, and just throw him on a second rate T.V. show. What I don't agree with, is the WWE always acting like something is going to happen with him. WTF? He goes to Sunday Night Heat. I personally tune into SNH each week just to watch Raven. He starts getting a little storyline going, and it becomes interesting to me. Then, out of the blue, it's dropped for no reason so that Raven came come back to RAW. OK, I can deal with that. The WWE want to use Raven on RAW now. That's cool. I can deal with him going through another character change, gimmick change, storyline change, whatever but no. He comes out with a new look only to job to "blown spot" Jeff Hardy. Not only does he job to Hardy after one of the worst Swanton Bombs ever, but it was for the 15th slow in the Rumble match itself. That pisses me off. WTF?

Seriously, WWE, WTF?

WTF, WTF, WTF?

I thought Raven gave a superhuman effort to make that match watchable. He busted out a spinning toehold, worked the leg, and *hustled*. Jeff is shit though. Fire his ass and bring up Nova as the Sinestro to Hurricane's Green Lantern.

It's not HBK hate. I just think it would have been better to end with Jericho picking #2. Less is more. They've already been building up HBK/Jericho before that. HBK has already superkicked Jericho.

Having Jericho look strong right before the Rumble would be more exciting.
