Guest Joe_G Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 From the Ring of Honor site: "Ring Of Honor is pleased to announce that it returns to the Boston area on March 15th. Tickets and info are available at RFVideo.com or by calling 215-891-9404. ROH will be in Cambridge, MA at the Massachusetts National Guard Amory on 450 Concord Avenue in Fresh Pond Circle. This building is very similar to the Americal Civic Center and should be an excellent venue for ROH." It'd be nice if it was in Worcester (where I live), but Cambridge is still only an hour's ride away. I'll be there.
Guest ShooterJay Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 Fuckin' A! I live near Cambridge. Woohoo!
Guest nl5xsk1 Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 Shooter, how accessible is the Armory from the Red Line? I'd like to go but can't see dealing with parking in Cambridge.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 Hmmm...about an hour and a half away, but it's ROH, and I need to see this product. Maybe I'll bring my girlfriend with me. She likes WWE. Maybe I need to show her REAL pro wrestling...
Guest ShooterJay Posted January 15, 2003 Report Posted January 15, 2003 Shooter, how accessible is the Armory from the Red Line? I'd like to go but can't see dealing with parking in Cambridge. I'm not sure exactly, I need to look into that myself, since I'll be taking the Red Line. i'll get back to you on that.
Guest converge241 Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 Worcester is further but it would be better (Palladium)
Guest Daddy X Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 The Palladium is kind of big for ROH. Smaller venues like the Americal Civic Center suit and Murphy Rec Center suit ROH just fine as they only draw from 300-500 tops. But in regards to the topic... I will be in attendance at this show since I've been to the last 2 and loved them.
Guest converge241 Posted January 23, 2003 Report Posted January 23, 2003 I think that there would be loads of walkups in Worcester from the locals to help fill it though.. more than a wakefield or waltham or even cambridge Worcester *hearts* wrestling
Chunk Posted January 23, 2003 Report Posted January 23, 2003 I think that there would be loads of walkups in Worcester from the locals to help fill it though.. more than a wakefield or waltham or even cambridge Worcester *hearts* wrestling Wierd. Just looking at that post, makes me realise how many places in america are named after places in England. Sorry for off topic ChUnK!
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted January 24, 2003 Report Posted January 24, 2003 converge speaks the truth. When ECW used to come to the Palladium, you'd be hard-pressed to find a good seat if you showed up at 6:30 and the doors weren't open until 8.
Guest Mole Posted January 24, 2003 Report Posted January 24, 2003 I'm in CT, but I'll be there if I can get the cash for it.
Chunk Posted January 24, 2003 Report Posted January 24, 2003 I'm in CT, but I'll be there if I can get the cash for it. How much are ringside ROH tickets then? FWA charge £35 for a special ringside package (you usually get the show t shirt for free). ChUnK!
Guest converge241 Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 "Wierd. Just looking at that post, makes me realise how many places in america are named after places in England." sir i have no idea what you are talking about here in New England, our forefathers were very original with their place naming *snicker*
Guest Zack Malibu Posted January 31, 2003 Report Posted January 31, 2003 How far a drive is Cambridge from Providence? If I've got spare cash, I've been meaning to check out ROH live.
Guest ShooterJay Posted January 31, 2003 Report Posted January 31, 2003 How far a drive is Cambridge from Providence? If I've got spare cash, I've been meaning to check out ROH live. I think the drive's a little over an hour.
Guest converge241 Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 "I think the drive's a little over an hour" i can concour with that estimate it is so worth it
Guest TheGame2705 Posted February 5, 2003 Report Posted February 5, 2003 Hour and 15 minutes from Prov. I HATE long car drives though.
Chunk Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 Hour and 15 minutes from Prov. I HATE long car drives though. Thats not long. It often takes me an hour to get into uni every morning. Just think of the reward at the end of it ChUnK!
