Guest GameCop Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 Don't expect the following to get within 20 feet of either the WWE Title or World Heavyweight Title this year: RVD (Whatever) Edge (New York doesn't like him, thus McMahon never will) Y2J (He'll be WWE's personal janitor by WM) Booker T (He's black...and the WWE is racist. Just ask D-lo) Eddy Guerrero (He's mexican. " ") However, expect the following to have respectable title reigns: Brock (Mr. Happy Dance) Angle (won't be champion for a while after WM XIX) Austin (OH HELL YEAH!!!) Rock (will leave after Backlash) HHH (he'll be married to Steph by August of 2003) Taker (The American fat ass will never put anyone over) Nathan Jones (you heard it here first; WWE is going to shove this piece of trash down our throats just like they did with Lesnar)
Guest bob_barron Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 Yea Y2J is certainly being jobbed out all the time and not getting pushed at all. I think it's an outrage that the guy is being booked into a main event feud right after having a successful two month run with the tag team titles and having just main evented a PPV where he was made to look strong and almost had Triple H tapping out. Yea it's a damn shame they're jobbing him out.
Guest GameCop Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 He's being built up only to job to either HHH or HBK. Don't you remember Vengeance 2001 and the subsequent WrestleMania ( Dog poop, Stephanie's errand boy, jobs to HHH at Mania) The bigger he's built up, the harder his fall will be when he is booked to look weak.
Guest bob_barron Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 But you act like the man is gonna be unemployed by Wrestlemania when all the evidence points to a main event level match at Wrestlemania. Eddy isn't getting a world title run because I don't think he deserves one. He's having a nice tag team run with Chavo at the moment and is doing perfectly fine. About your Taker comments- Undertaker DID put over Brock Lesnar so saying he has never put anyone over is inaccurate
Guest Brian Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 I figure in this situation, they're using HBK as fodder to put over a HHH opponent into main event stature down the line. But heck, at least he's getting a push.
Guest GameCop Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 Ok, I admit I was exaggerating just a bit about Jericho. Regarding Undertaker putting over Brock -- that's only because Brock is over 6 feet 2 inches tall and looks like he could decimate Taker in real life. Taker won't put over Y2J or RVD.
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 Armageddon 2003 Main Event for the Smackdown Title (if it's still around) Edge vs. Matt Hardy Version 1
LooseCannon25 Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 Maybe i'm crazy..............but, i actually think they're serious about pushing Jericho this time. They can't ignore his reactions anymore, as he gets a ton of boos and cheers. MAybe they finally realized they have a special performer. I think these guys will have title reigns in 2003. RAW: 1)Triple H --- What else is new 2)Scott Steiner --- It's a given he'll have a succesful title run soon. 3) Chris Jericho --- I think by SummerSlam we could finally see him hold the gold again. 4) Steve Austin --- If he's on RAW you better believe he'll be the champ. For some reason i see him dropping the title to Jericho at SummerSlam. Smackdown: 1) Brock --- he'll win the title again 2) Angle --- Kurt 's gonna keep the title till Mania. 3) Benoit --- I see him being pushed into a major feud with Brock after Mania. 4) The Rock --- If he comes back to Smackdown its a guarantee he'll be the champ soon after
Guest Jack Tunney Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 Regarding Undertaker putting over Brock -- that's only because Brock is over 6 feet 2 inches tall and looks like he could decimate Taker in real life. Taker won't put over Y2J or RVD. Taker put over RVD in a hardcore title match in the Summer of Fall of 2001.Then again the pinfall was outside of the ring so maybe that was Takers way of getting around doing a real job.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted January 16, 2003 Report Posted January 16, 2003 Since he'll be over all year it seems impossible to me that RVD won't win the fake title this year. Watch as it fails to happen again and again.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Stone Cold Steve Austin will feud with Brock over the title, and I don't think he'll get it, leaving the door open for a Brock/Benoit feud in which Austin will eventually end up with the title, taking away the belt from the transitional champ, Benoit. Steve Austin will hold the Undisputed Champiionship this year.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Didn't Taker put over Mick?
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Oh I forgot that was erased from Smark history
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Benoit beats Lesnar at SummerSlam for the Undisputed Title. You heard it here first kids. Other then that I'm not sure on much else. They might throw Booker a token title run on Raw, but I wouldn't expect much from that.

I do however feel Taker will get the title once more, and that another who we do not expect will win the World Title of one of the shows, have it be someone under contract, or not. Booker T, RVD, Eddy, Edge blah blah blah wilL NOT win any World Title this year, so jus forget about it. I don't even think any of them are ready, and I'm sure that WWE doesn't think so either. I see Nathan Jones, Goldberg, or someone else not signed will win one of them this year some time, quite possibly even Flair.
Guest Choken One Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Raw 1). Triple H (Loses at Rumble) 2). Scott Steiner (Rumble to WM) 3). Jericho (WM to KOTR 4). Austin (King of the ring to Survivor Series) 5). Jones (Series to Rumble) Smackdown! 1). Angle (Now to Mania) 2). Lesnar (Mania to Slam) 3). Beniot (Slam to No Mercy) 4). Angle (Mercy to WM)
Guest Loss4Words Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 If Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho are both world champions at the same time, I will probably have a heart attack.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 If they give Jones the title hoping to get Brock Lesnar, Part 2, then Vince has lost his damn mind. Also, Flair should never wrestle ever again, period.
Guest wwF1587 Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 World Title HHH (duh) NOW till WM then again at ArmAgeddon HBK (face it... its gonna be HHH/HBK at Mania) WM - Judgement Day Nash (hes comin back... whether he lasts more than 30 seconds this time is the real question) JD - KOTR Jericho (could happen i guess.. dont see how but ill go on a limb) Unforgiven - ArmAgeddon Austin (if he comes back) KOTR - Unforgiven WWE Title Angle (duh again) NOW to Mania Brock (i dont think its fair to place him in the main event soo early.. hes not even been here a year i dont think) Mania to KOTR The Rock (Brock/Rock II and to give it to someone so he can leave again) KOTR to SummerSlam Rhyno (pleeasse!) KOTR to ArmAgeddon RVD (i figure he gets traded by then.. and i can dream) ArmAgeddon
Guest Anglesault Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 Raw: Couldn't care less. Smackdown: Angle: Now to Mania Brock: Mania to Summerslam Angle: Summerslam to Unfogiven Benoit: Unfrogiven to No mercy Angle: No Mercy to Mania.
Guest HHHater Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 My prediction is that Edge wins the title at WrestleMania XX.
Guest Choken One Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 I couldn't see them logically having Edge as Face winning the title at WMXX when he is nortouisly hated in New York. I completly expect New York Darling Brock Lesnar to win the Title back either in ***** WMXIX rematch with Angle or maybe a Heel Rock.
Guest Anglesault Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 Angle/Brock *****? ***1/2, both times. Brock/Rock? About the same. I don't know where you got those numbers.
Guest Choken One Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 I am expecting Brock to be kicking in his greatness and Angle by this time SHOULD know how to carry a match (if he wrestle Beniot and Eddy enough, he'll learn). Besides, In ***** i don't just include the match itself, I include the emotion, the heat and the crowd as factors and Being in MSG those three will add to the **** match quality, making it *****.
Guest HHHater Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 Is Madison Square Garden the confirmed location for XX?
Guest Anglesault Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 I am expecting Brock to be kicking in his greatness Ah, yes, the potential. Angle by this time SHOULD know how to carry a match (if he wrestle Beniot and Eddy enough, he'll learn). Eh. I dunno. I just go by what i do no. Angle hasn't hit ***** yet. Brock hasn't gotten over ***1/2ish (Which he only got one or two times) Unless they both improve ALOT (Especially Brock) I can't see this being a **** match, let alone *****. I include the emotion, the heat and the crowd as factors and Being in MSG those three will add to the **** match quality The building? And I assume you consider Hogan/Rock to be ***1/4, right? If we're adding a point or so onto the match with emotion and heat, of course.
Guest Choken One Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 I would Say Angle has Hit **** once, against Beniot at Unforgiven (Which I am currently enjoying). Brock can easily rip into something good, A match is so much better with heat (something Angle/Beniot lacked) and a emotional story. Which is why I consider Rock/Austin the last great match since it had everything. No Hogan/Rock wasn't ***1/4 because it wasn't a wrestling exhibition to me, but moreso a Entertainment moment that will unlikely never be replicated again. MSG and The new york crowd can make anymatch even more special.
Guest Anglesault Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 I would Say Angle has Hit **** once, You think out of all Angle's great matches, he has had only ONE **** match, yet you think he can have a ***** match with a not so great worker? Brock can easily rip into something good And we know this...how?
Guest Just call me Dan Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 Angle/Brock will be **** because it will be all Angle. He could carry Brock to an excellent match, hands down.
Guest Anglesault Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 Can he carry someone to ****? He got Kane close, but I don't think he hit it.
