Dunno...just wish they would keep a belt around for the guy's HHH is going to hold down and not let win the world title.

I would be very very happy if they brought back the U.S. Title on Raw and I.C Title on smackdown. It would be a title that guys like JEricho, Booker T, RVD, Christian, Hurricane , LAnce Storm could fight for on Raw. Edge, Guerrero, Mysterio, Benoit, Matt Hardy can fight for the IC Title on SMackdown.

Yes, the IC title is dreadfully needed to come back. The problem is simply this, What do they do to resurrect and distribute the title?

 

The resurruction should be simple to do, If they DO hand the reign over to Shane, Then that can be a instant point for him, By announcing a One Night 8 Man Tournyment but just be make the title more worthwhile, make it a floatover Title. Meaning Smackdown and Raw can use partake in the title (ala the World title when it was defended on each Brand). Raw chooses it's 4 representives (Rob Van Dam, Lance Storm, Christian and Goldust) and Smackdown selects Rey, Cena, Chavo and Kidman. Have no intrabrand matches until the finals (RVD/Storm and Goldust/Christian, Rey/Chavo and Kidman/Cena) then RVD/Christian in the semis and Rey/Cena with Rey and RVD in a dream finals. RVD must win to bring an instant impact.

 

This means like They did with the Undisputed Title, RVD alternates Raw and Smackdown (Shane is smart enough to make sure Brock doesn't happen again).

 

With the I.C title back, it creates a seperation and clears alot of hazy parts up.

 

The title can easily work again...

Personally, I think the IC title should remain buried until WWE decides that they would want to SERIOUSLY push it. I found myself not caring about the belt at all last year, because it was rarely the focal point of a feud

How I'd like to see it back.

 

Smackdown or Raw or whatever start.

 

Over the course of 2 shows have 3 one on one matches and let the stip be known that there would be something in it for the winner.

 

And then as the 3rd show starts...the GM (whoever it is) is the middle of the ring pointing up...and suspended above the ring is the IC title.

 

And then they'll say that the winners of the secret stipulation matches or whatever will compete in the main event in a ladder match for the IC title

Meh, I rather see both shows have TV Titles then to see the IC Title back. Hell, the concept fits the split so perfectly that I'm shocked that they didn't do it sooner.

I always kinda pictured it coming back this way but now that they may be ditching the HHHorseman it wouldn't happen:

HHH and his horsemen(Batista,Orton,who else was rumored to be in it?) come to the ring and HHH is carrying a metal brief case. Orton has just gotten a big win over a top star and HHH goes on about how proud of Orton he is. Then he decides to give him a present. He opens the brief case and pulls out the IC title and hands it over to Orton. Orton could then act like a chickenshit and never defend it and ONE guy(dunno who) can chase him and talk about how great the title was and how he wants to bring honor back to it. Then he can beat Randy in a big PPV setting and claim the title. Then he could go on an extended reign defending it all the time and rebuilding it's legacy.

With Bischoff planning to really "shake things up" over the next 27 days, bringing back the I-C belt could be an option. I mean, nothing says 'new and exciting' in WWE logic more than bringing back a belt that was rendered virtually useless in its last 3 years of existence.
