Guest HartFan86 Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 You notice how the graphic for the Raw/SD superstars was like only 1 second each on SD? Well, take a look at this: Rikishi B-2 A-Train Bill DeMott Matt Hardy Edge Haas Shelton Cena Tajiri Rey Chavo Eddie And they are the same 15 Raw Superstars. So we have 2 spots open for SD. Austin is Coming, Austin is Coming.
Guest bob_barron Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Don't set yourself up for dissapointment
Guest Bling-Bling Buchanan Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 It's Lesnar/Big Show and Rhyno.
Guest Mattdotcom Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Cole hinted that B-2 would be taken out of the Rumble because of Cena and Reddd Doggg (I bet that's how they'll spell it).
Guest HartFan86 Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Bling-Bling (LOL), your right. I didn't count Big Show/Brock. But then again, Matt is true as well. So I guess it evens out. Still 2 open slots.
Guest GameCop Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Reddog will replace B-2 in the Rumble match. So, that leaves one spot open. GORE!!! GORE!!! GORE!!!
LaParkaYourCar Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Brock or Big Show will take one of those two spots then the other was supposed to be Damaja, but I heard Rhyno is taking that spot.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Hmm......Austin is officially entered.
Guest bob_barron Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Huh?? Where did you hear that?
Guest HartFan86 Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Another thought....possiblity of Taker being in for SD.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 I can't wait to see mae young in the rumble.
Guest HartFan86 Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Another thought....Nathan Jones for SD (if he ends up going on that brand.)
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 You don't remember the promo Bob Barron where Austin officially entered himself in Royal Rumble 2003? Nevermind......I'm sure the WWE doesn't remember it either....
Guest bob_barron Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Was that where he sung the Beverly Hillbillies?? I gotta say- if that's their explanation then that's some SWEET continuity
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 I brought this up in the other thread, because I saw Smackdown early as usual after all, and noticed only 13 pictures + Big Show/Lesnar winner. The 15th is most doubtably Taker.. I don't get no credit!
Guest NoCalMike Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 If WWE was using RR to bring back Austin, the better as hell should have dropped more hints....unless they don't care at all about a buyrate, because from where I am sitting(at work, in a chair) the Royal Rumble match(and the ppv actually) could be the blandest it has been since Hogan was winning it every year.
Guest Choken One Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Nah...If they got a open spot...why waste it on a meaningless lowcarder *Ducks*. Seriously, Jim Duggan or even Koko B. Ware would make a better impact then Knoble. Wait! I haven't heard a THING about the possible No Contest with Brock and TBS and NEITHER of them making the Rumble...I could See WWE fucking us like that and putting in Two dumb people like Nunzio and Funaki.
Guest Downhome Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Austin will NOT be there, we will not see him untill the first RAW that Shane is in controll of. I still feel the two suprise guys will be SOME form of Taker, and Nathan Jones.
Guest bob_barron Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Kidman also isn't in the RR. Maybe HEAT will have a tag team cruiser match or something
Guest Choken One Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 What Kidman isn't it the Rumble!*Looks at the list* Take fucking Tajiri out! He's the ucking Cruiserweight chamion and he has a push doesn't he? Guess he'll have something to do with The angle that will never die.
Guest creativename Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 I'd say that the two spots would be Lesnar and Damaja, but I guess you never know. It's pretty messed up if they don't let Damaja in, completely no-selling OVW like that. (plus, it means Angle jobbed for nothing) Nathan Jones and Rhyno are also possibilities--of course, Jones would get the Diesel push if he's in there. It would actually make sense for both these guys to be in there; I think they should have kept a couple more spots free And I doubt Taker will be in it. He should be--what's the point of all this hype if he's not even going to wrestle?? Just another WWE bait-and-switch (though I suppose people expect that by now). Well, at least they let people know not to expect Darkside Taker--that would have majorly pissed off a lot of people.
Guest chirs3 Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 What Kidman isn't it the Rumble!*Looks at the list* Take fucking Tajiri out! He's the ucking Cruiserweight chamion and he has a push doesn't he? Guess he'll have something to do with The angle that will never die. Wanna hear something truly sad? Before I read your post, I had forgotten who the Cruiserweight champ was... didn't really care much about it, either...
Guest Downhome Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 It's pretty messed up if they don't let Damaja in, completely no-selling OVW like that. (plus, it means Angle jobbed for nothing) He lost his Royal Rumble shot.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Wow, they've sure stocked the RR w/ the cream of the crop from both rosters
Guest subliminal_animal Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Another thought....possiblity of Taker being in for SD. He better be in, because then the hype about his return will be for nothing. Wait! I haven't heard a THING about the possible No Contest with Brock and TBS and NEITHER of them making the Rumble...I could See WWE fucking us like that and putting in Two dumb people like Nunzio and Funaki. Why would they do that? They do fuck people over, but they're not going to do it to those two in favor of two cruisers. And Funaki and Nunzio aren't dumb. They're bright guys with brighter futures. Austin will NOT be there, we will not see him untill the first RAW that Shane is in controll of. I still feel the two suprise guys will be SOME form of Taker, and Nathan Jones. Nathan Jones shouldn't be in it, because he'll lose anyway. Wow, they've sure stocked the RR w/ the cream of the crop from both rosters Who do you want them to put in, without picking people that already have matches? For the most part, they picked all of the guys highest on the hard out of who they had left. What significant changes could you make?
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 From a personal standpoint, I'd take out B-2 and A-Train, and probably Rikishi. Stick Knoble & Nunzio, and possibly Kidman in. On the Raw side, take out Jeff & Dreamer, and put in Helms and Stevie. EDIT: yes, I realize I haven't upped the "star" power, but I at least took out guys who are doing nothing and replaced them w/ guys who are doing something.
Guest subliminal_animal Posted January 17, 2003 Report Posted January 17, 2003 Noble and Nunzio are doing nothing. Helms is doing nothing. Only Stevie and Kidman should have a case made for them. Stevie's my third favorite in the company right now, but I don't think there's room for him this year. But when you can only make such minor changes yourself, it can't really be that bad where you have to roll your eyes, can it?
Guest El Satanico Posted January 18, 2003 Report Posted January 18, 2003 The surprise entrant into the Royal Rumble will be... Bob Backlund
