Guest EMAXSAUN Report post Posted January 18, 2003 XPW New Years Revolution 3 January 17th, 2003 - J-Love came out after the concert and attempted to sing once again. Someone had a problem with that, and it was Simon Diamond! He came out, making fun of the way J-Love was singing. Pogo the Clown rushed out, which caused Diamond to make fun of him as well. As a result, Diamond was beaten by the evil clown. - XPW Tag Team Titles: Mexico's Most Wanted def. Danny Doring - The Enterprise made their way out to do their shtick, but were interrupted by Bill Alphonso. Fonzie was brutalized by The E, all the while XPW TV Champion Kaos kept pointing to sky and even hit a triple jump moonsault! - XPW TV Title Shot for Aftermath: Jonny Storm def. Jerry Lynn Jonny Storm advances and will meet XPW TV Champion "Rock Superstar" Kaos tomorrow night at Aftermath! --------------------------------------------------- MY NOTES: NO, I DID NOT GO TO THIS SHOW. I will be going tomorrow to Aftermath because I live in NYC and the bus trip was only offered for the Saturday Show. What I heard from people who went to the show. Most people thought it was pretty good, with the only really bad match being Candido vs Dinero. They said that the Tag title match and Lynn vs Storm were great. Attendance sucked, plain and simple, this was XPW lowest attendance in Philly yet. Numbers were ranging from 250-300 people. That is extremely low, and if it is 250, that is HALF of what it was last month when I went (500.) XPW said that the saturday show tickets were selling well though, so we will see. They have announced the aftermath card and so far it looks good to me: XPW World Heavyweigh Championship: "The Franchise" was pinned by Lucy... What will come of this? XPW Tag Team Championship (TLC): Champions Mexico's Most Wanted VS. Youtanazia XPW KOTDM Championship (I Quit): Champion Supreme VS. Justice Pain XPW Television Championship: Champion "Rock Superstar" Kaos VS. Jonny Storm Jerry Lynn vs. Juventud Guerrera vs. Psicosis Chris Chetti vs. Super Crazy Shark Boy VS. Tracy Smothers Chris Hamrick VS. "Hardcore Homo" Angel Malice VS. The Man Who Attacked Him @ NYR3 Chris Candido VS. Julio Dinero So far I am pumped up about every match except for Candido vs Dinero really and I don't know much about the man who attacked Mailce. That's it. JustJoe2k5 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2003 Fuck the Philly rebellion. The fact that the show was on a Friday night probably had something to do with the low attendance. Tonight's crowd will probably be much larger. Anyone else think the "Extreme Surprise" will be Sabu? Especially after Kaos kept mocking Sabu while they were attacking Bill Alfonso. I could see Sabu showing up tonight and defeating Kaos for the Television title. Jerry Lynn-Psicosis-Juventud Guerrera should be awesome, but they should've added Super Crazy in top make it a 4-Way Dance, that would be a must-see match. EMAXSAUN, are you going to tonight's show? If you are do you think you could take some pictures and post them up here, or post a review of the show?
Chunk 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2003 Mwahahahaha. How you gonna pay Justice Pains wages now, with crappy ticket sales. Good to see Jonny Storms performing well though. And, XPW or not, Lynn/Psicosis/Guerrera should be worth the admission alone. EMAX: I second that. Some photos and a review would be cool. ChUnK!
Guest Sykotic2002 Report post Posted January 18, 2003 Sabu won't be there tonight. He's on his way right now to Japan for the Wrestle-1 show at the Tokyo Dome.
