Indy fans, help me out

I used to go to high school with a guy named Jeff, who currently wrestles on the Indy scene as Jeff Starr.

 

I haven't seen him in about two years, the last time I saw him was at a WWF Jakked taping where he jobbed to Meng in March 2001, (same taping featuring Low Ki vs. Essa Rios)

 

Just curious if he's still around and if he's done anything of note. Smackdown's in Albany, Ny next week and if he's there I'm sure he'll get a Dark match or Velocity match.

quick google search reveals the lad's official homepage. you can even download that fabled match with meng from jakked, though i didn't personally take the time. he seems to be situated in vegas now.

I've seen Jeff Starr quite a few times in Massachusetts on World Wrestling Alliance shows. He has a tag team going with a wrestler called Shockwave and they do most of their wrestling in a promotion in New York although I'm not sure the name. They also had a match in Ring of Honor a month or so back.

Jeff graduated two years before I did, but when I knew him, all he ever talked about was wrestling, to the point that he held a pool for Wrestlemania every year. If he really was hot with the ladies then he did it away from school.

My only wrestling connection is I went to high school with someone's brother who who worked indies. His name was Shark Attack Kid or something

I've seen Shark Attack Kid in ECW, Taz killed him in some ECW show in 1996 that was used to bring in Bam Bam Bigelow to ECW.

I managed to catch the Noble vs. Starr match on Saturday night. Jeff didn't look too bad. Consider Nidia probably stiffed the hell out of him. That neckbreaker looked BRUTAL though.
