Guest ViciousFish Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 A few weeks ago me and my friends were playing 6 Degrees od Seperation, that game where you link actors to each other by movie co-stars. Anyways, in typical loser fashion I managed to stump them all by linking Undertaker to RVD using only movies....no wrestling matches. Problem is, I promptly forgot how and now today it was bugging me. I know it started with 'Suburban Commando' which 'Taker was in wth Christopher Lloyd, and went to Adam's Family which Christopher Lloyd was in with Raul Julia, which went to Street Fighter but I have no clue where it went from there. The only other thing I can remember is it ended with RVD being in Black Mask II.
Guest Choken One Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 I imagine you connected them via Black Mask II ant Jet Li (Whom I believe was the star of the movie) and Jet Li was in Street Fighter. Hey just ask your friends!
Guest Dillon Likes Bossman Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 At least the thread was justly named.
Guest art_vandelay Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 What did Jet Li do in Street Fighter?
Guest DeputyHawk Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 jet li wasn't in the second black mask. but taker with christopher lee in suburban commando christopher lee with raul julia in addams family raul julia with andrew bryniarski (zangief) in street fighter andrew bryniarski with rvd in black mask 2 would work
Guest DeputyHawk Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 who can go roddy piper to terry funk?
Guest Coffey Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 jet li wasn't in the second black mask. but taker with christopher lee in suburban commando christopher lee with raul julia in addams family raul julia with andrew bryniarski (zangief) in street fighter andrew bryniarski with rvd in black mask 2 would work Christopher Lee wasn't in Surburban Commando or Addams Family.
The Dames Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 I'm sure he meant Christopher Lloyd. Dames
The Dames Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 I'm GREAT at 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon....just sayin. Dames
Guest DeputyHawk Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 yeah, christopher lloyd obviously, not lee, my bad. come on bitches, roddy piper - terry funk, you know it can be done...
Guest Zero_Cool Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 You can also play the game by using John Cusack instead..just try it. This theory was devoloped at Polar Ice in Grapevine, Texas, as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the New Jersey Nets in an anti climatic win to clinch a thrid consecutive championship.
Guest teke184 Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 The easiest way to link them is that they were both in Beyond the Mat, as RVD was in the backstage footage shot at ECW Barely Legal and Undertaker appeared at some point on screen, both in match footage and in footage filmed directly for the screen. The harder way would be: Rob Van Dam was in Black Mask 2 with Andrew Bryniarski Andrew Bryniarski was in Necessary Roughness with Larry Miller Larry Miller was in Suburban Commando with Mark Calloway (Undertaker)
Guest DeputyHawk Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 necessary roughness? was that produced by rob black?
Guest teke184 Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 No. It's a college football spoof movie starring Scott Bakula of Star Trek: Enterprise and Quantum Leap. http://us.imdb.com/Title?0102517
Guest HHHater Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 Piper was in "They Live!" and a bunch of other B-movies, but I think Terry Funk was only in one.
Guest teke184 Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 Roddy Piper was in They Live with Keith David Keith David was in Road House with Terry Funk. Ahem.... BOOYAH~!
Guest DeputyHawk Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 Piper was in "They Live!" and a bunch of other B-movies, but I think Terry Funk was only in one. that's some quick thinking, but you're missing the concept of actually connecting the two through the other actors in those particular movies
Guest DeputyHawk Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 in two! big up respect to teke. randy savage to goldberg anyone?
Guest teke184 Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 Easy way- Both were in Ready to Rumble. I'll work on the hard way and get back to you shortly.
The Dames Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 Randy Savage was in Spiderman with Tobey Maguire Tobey was in the Cider House Rules with Charlize Theron Charlize Theron was in Reindeer Games with Ben Affleck Ben Affleck was in Boiler Room with Scott Caan Scott Caan was in Ready To Rumble with Goldberg Dames
The Dames Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 Easy way- Both were in Ready to Rumble. I'll work on the hard way and get back to you shortly. Cheater... Dames
Guest HHHater Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 Connect Bret Hart (using "Lonesome Dove" instead of a movie) to Kevin Bacon.
The Dames Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 It doesn't work with TV shows. At least, it shouldn't. Dames
Guest teke184 Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 Hard way- Randy Savage is in Spider-Man with Bill Nunn Bill Nunn is in Bulletproof with Xander Berkley Xander Berkley is in Universal Soldier: The Return with Bill Goldberg
Guest El Satanico Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 6 Degrees works well with Ben Affleck as well. He's been in alot of movies that had good casts. the Ben Affleck/Matt Damon connection comes into play often when doing 6 Degrees of Ben Affleck.
The Dames Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 Teke, who's Bill Nunn? Xander Berkeley rules all. Dames
Guest El Satanico Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 Bill Nunn is that one mean as hell looking black guy. He was in Predator.
Guest teke184 Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 Bill Nunn playes Robbie Robinson in Spider-Man and appears to spend much of his time as a bit player. He's listed as playing Lonnie Shaver in the upcoming Runaway Jury, though, and I remember from the book that Lonnie had a sizable part in the movie.
