Guest wwF1587 Report post Posted January 19, 2003 ok dont know if its been done.. dont care. Anyone have any ideas Bischoff will shake RAW up? Forget the rumble... what crazy thing do u believe will be done next before we hit the reset button.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted January 19, 2003 He wont "shake it up". He'll try, but at each show for the next three or four weeks, his huge plans for RAW will be ruined, what with the refs going on strike (more than likely on this coming RAW), and others being pissed at him. He'll more than likely say a huge suprise will happen, but it'll fall through, stuff like that. Shane will then take over, and Austin will redebut on the first RAW Shane has controll over, to make Shane look that much more face like in the eyes of the fans. Bishoff will then start up a type of renegade group, and then they lead to WrestleMania for controll of RAW, or the time slot, stuff like that.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted January 19, 2003 I think the only thing that will save the angle if he promises a Stone Cold comback to the Raw brand. Whatever happens...I'm sure it will be a letdown
Guest Brian Report post Posted January 19, 2003 See, that all doesn't make sense because shane's story has been as he's working with Vince, or at least looking out for his best interests. The story right now, and the WO Newsletter basically confirmed what became obvious last week, was that Vince hates Austin and he's willing to give Bischoff a chance. With three weeks gone by, desperation comes to the point where Bischoff needs to bring in Austin. He screws over Vince in a sense but brings the numbers up, but also insults his number one guy (HHH). Guest jester Report post Posted January 19, 2003 This is the begining of Vince's real revenge, as Bischoff will be made to look like a complete useless fool. The Dudleys and all the faces will run over him, and so will HHH. Stephanie will probably get in on the action as she tries to drive Bischoff out as they yet again ignore the crossing over rules (BTW, did we ever find out who was traded for Big Show?) Raw itself will be basically unchanged. Exactly like it has been for the past few months. Some nights will just have more promo time than others.

Guest Brian Report post Posted January 19, 2003 Well at this point that's their plan, as evidenced by the RAW X special, with Trips walking out and Vince accepting the award; as well as the Bischoff stuff and the planned Austin return.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted January 19, 2003 (BTW, did we ever find out who was traded for Big Show?) Yes, The Hurricane, Maven, and others like that who just showed up. I think Maven was one, but you get the idea.

Exactly like it has been for the past few months. Guest jester Report post Posted January 19, 2003 I doubt HHH will run over Eric but I can see HHH having Steph write Eric into thinking "More HHH=More ratings!" just to totally undermine Eric on the smark level... Eh, it still wouldn't surprise me if HHH pushes around Eric. He showed signs of trying to be a cool heel on the Raw X show. Heel HHH pushes around everybody, even other heels. Given what was shown on SD, it seems Steph is more concerned with trying to Shane to promise not to fuck her over when/if he comes into power on Raw than to tip the apple cart over anymore. I smell a swerve coming, like a Steph/Eric alliance. I'd go so far as to say that the Halloween kiss forshadowed this, but given the writing team, it's probably a case of accidental continuity. Ivory, Maven, Val Venis, and IIRC Hurricane Ah, ok. Those four must have felt real good about themselves. Hurricane has more skill in his left buttcheek than Show has in his entire body. Guest Choken One Report post Posted January 19, 2003 Hate to say but the Trade was great...Smackdown was the real winner. It got rid of 4 nothings and got an important Cog in one of the best Angles to date.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted January 19, 2003 Actually, I believe in official WWE kayfabe Raw got Hurricane, Batista, D-Von Dudley and maybe Orton (when did he switch anyway?) in exchange for Big Show and sending Booker T to England for a match on SmackDown's Rebellion PPV. Maven, Ivory, etc were never explained.

Maven, Ivory, etc were never explained. I did some checking and about the Big Show Trade: SD got Big Show and Raw got D-Von, Ivory, Maven, and Val Venis in return. Randy Orton jumped ship right before the roster freeze happened while Hurricane IIRC joined Raw after the rosters were frozen by way of not officially signing with SD during the period where people could jump ship... Batista also jumped ship and signed with Raw but do to some sort of unspoken plot device (perhaps Dave wanting to grow his hair back before debuting on TV) Batista didn't redebut on Raw until after the roster freeze happened... Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted January 19, 2003 I've got an idea that would shake up Raw. How about firing Bischoff, not putting anyone in his place, and running the show without a figurehead office role? I'll tell you something right now, none of these general manager/CEO/Vice President/owner roles draws any money anymore. Vince did it in 98 which was 5 fucking years ago. Someone give him a memo that shit is played out and has been played out for about a year and a half. No one pays money for a show to see Steph, Eric, Shane, or whoever the fuck you put in position. In the end, the casuals (the fans that count since they make up 95-98% of the fanbase) don't give a shit who makes the matches, they give a shit about who's wrestling in them. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted January 19, 2003 Nothing will change on Raw. This is just going to be another example of Vince kicking the corpse of WCW. Bischoff will talk about big changes and they will either not happen or it will be a stupid change. They will "shake up" Raw by doing stuff like WCW did to try shaking things up their last few dying years. Damnit Vince you own WCW...you won...stop kicking the damn corpse already ya prick. Guest Raven_Effect01 Report post Posted January 19, 2003 Heel HHH pushes around everybody, even other heels. I saw him walk by Jericho on Confidential last night and sarcastically said "Yeah, nice shoes..." I think.

Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted January 19, 2003 Just wanted to mention I HOPE the shake up is good since I'm going to RAW on Feb. 3rd in DC (pity me, but its my birthday...)
Guest wwF1587 Report post Posted January 19, 2003 I still want to know what was up with that kiss between Bischoff and Steph was all about... or did that never happen like Jerichos title reign.
Guest The Old Me Report post Posted January 19, 2003 I agree that this angle serves 1 purpose, to further bury WCW and now to bury Bischoff. Shane will come out looking great, probably doing great things with RAW, since he's a McMahon after all.
bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2003 That would be a good way for them to debut Goldberg, it would actually make a little bit of sense (not that I particularly want to see this happen mind you) but eh... if he's coming, do it in the best way possible. Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted January 19, 2003 He'll bring in Hogan and Rock, then Steph will get Austin and they'll battle like that. Shane isn't taking over.

Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted January 19, 2003 As long as Bischoff has his own group, and stays on tv, I'm happy. I love the guy in his current role, it's just what goes on around him that amounts to the worst thing ever.
Guest The Amazing Rando Report post Posted January 19, 2003 honestly...I hope Austin never comes back It's not that I hate the guy or I want to see him go out of the company on such a low note, but he didn't want to job to Brock Lesnar, and now Brocky is a pretty big player in the game (which is something even most smarks doubted) and so do you think when he comes back that he will do what management tells him? NO. If he comes back, I want it to be for 4 or 5 weeks and just to set up some retirement match where he can lose with dignity and go out with some flash and flare and not being remembered as the guy who "just walked out" How is Bisch gonna "shake things up" ...bottom line...is that you can't change the fans perspective of the WWE in 4 weeks, and so I don't care what he does...I just hope it makes WWETV a bit more interesting leading into No Way Out and Wrestlemania. My favorite PPV of the year (SurSer) was already ruined by the WWE taking out the elimination matches (pretty much) and now my 2nd favorite (the Rumble) looks to be ruined by a bad card and a semi predictable finish ... not as bad as last year...but I can already eliminate 20 or so guys from the list that have no chance of winning. It's going to be more of when each jobber gets thrown out and how. Hopefully it will end up being pretty cool but I am skeptical. Whatever... Anything Can Happen In the WWE...it's just sad that we've apparently already saw "anything" a few dozen times...

NO. You don't even know what you're talking about! Austin didn't mind jobbing to Brock. The problem was he felt it was a big time match-up, thus it should've had some build up. He was disappointed that he didn't know about the match until the night that it was supposed to happen, so he said "fuck it."
