Guest Powerplay Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 Over-The-Top-Rope Elimination Battle Royal CIA v. Alex Zenon v. Tod deKindes v. Xero v. TNT Evidence: CIA is a fantastic writer, quite possibly the best in the bunch (No offense, this is just my opinion). Zed has been cold, but I know he will write, but I don't think he'll win for a few reasons I know of. Tod is always solid, and TNT is coming back now. Judge's Ruling: CIA to get the win and become the #1 pick to win the 'Fuck. Singles Match X v. Perfect Bo Evidence: I haven't seen anything from Xstacy yet, but I hear he is great. I've seen a pretty good match from Bo already. Judge's Ruling: Bo to get a close win to shake off the ring rust and be ready for a good PPV match. Singles Match Stryke v. Hville Thugg Evidence: Well, Stryke no-showed last time, and it doesn't seem like he can catch a break. Thugg has been pretty good lately, and pretty good lately, but I think we may see Stryke come out on top either way to build the Bo/Thugg/Xstasy thing going on. Judge's Ruling: Stryke winning either way. Six Man Tag Match Judge Mental, Danny Williams, & Tom Flesher v. Annie Eclectic, Mak Francis, and El Luchador Magnifico Special Guest Commentator: Frost Evidence: On the Magnificent 7 side we have two of the most solid writers in the fed... and me. On the other side, we have the World Champion, a person who already beat me, and a guy who has been hanging around the tag scene for a while. Judge's Ruling: Well, I'm not one to predict a match I am in, but I feel somewhat good about this one.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted January 19, 2003 Report Posted January 19, 2003 Over-The-Top-Rope Elimination Battle Royal CIA v. Alex Zenon v. Tod deKindes v. Xero v. TNT -This could be a really great match. I really like the characters and writing of everyone involved. Except for Xero, of course, who never shows. I think TNT is still figuring out what he wants to do with his new character direction. Zenon has been cold post break as Judge stated, but was red hot before hand. CIA is starting to live up to potential and Tod is great week in and week out. CIA might be better suited to the stips, but I picked Tod as my dark horse CF winner awhile back, so I'll go with that here. WINNER: TOD DEKINDES Singles Match X v. Perfect Bo -Bo really impressed me with his last match. It was much better than I remember him ever writing in his last run. X is supposedly a fantastic writer, but I haven't seen anything from him yet and I get the bad feeling that he might not be able live up to expectations. WINNER: BO Singles Match Stryke v. Hville Thugg -Stryke is drawing the short end of the straw every week, but fighting through it. However, Thugg just has a fire lit under him match and promo wise and he's really impressing me with everything he's doing right now. If Thugg loses, he'll write it by Bo interference. WINNER: THUGG Six Man Tag Match Judge Mental, Danny Williams, & Tom Flesher v. Annie Eclectic, Mak Francis, and El Luchador Magnifico Special Guest Commentator: Frost -This will end in a giant melee with everyone down to Mr. Bukkake and the Memphis Eel getting involved leading to Clusterfuck. Should be a real wild contest. I believe the Mag 7 boys have better communication and Flesher will be able to guide and fashion a quality tag match more easily and solidly. WINNER: MAG 7
Guest midnight_burn Posted January 20, 2003 Report Posted January 20, 2003 Over-The-Top-Rope Elimination Battle Royal CIA v. Alex Zenon v. Tod deKindes v. Xero v. TNT -> Should be a dandy of an opener. I think it'll come down to CIA or deKindes to win this, and for no particular reason i'll go with CIA to get a big win heading into Clusterfuck. Singles Match X v. Perfect Bo -> If both men write like they can this should be great. I haven't seen anything so far from X though, and with Bo coming off a win on Smarkdown i think his momentum will continue heading into a confrontation with Thugg, picking up a win here. Singles Match Stryke v. Hville Thugg -> Up against Thugg i'm probably dead here, but i'll give it a shot. If my match can come together like i've planned i may have a tiny shot at winning, but if Thugg writes up to his usual level it probably won't matter what i do. Six Man Tag Match Judge Mental, Danny Williams, & Tom Flesher v. Annie Eclectic, Mak Francis, and El Luchador Magnifico Special Guest Commentator: Frost -> Crazy 6 man action, this'll probably come down to which team can coordinate between themselves better, so i'll go with the Magnificent Seven to get the win here, though i'd expect plenty of interference and craziness by the end of this one.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 20, 2003 Report Posted January 20, 2003 OMG BUCS IN THE BOWL PREDICTIONS! Over-The-Top-Rope Elimination Battle Royal CIA v. Alex Zenon v. Tod deKindes v. Xero v. TNT --God dammit, Z. This is yours. Write! Normally I'd pick TNT, but I don't think he's quite back into the groove yet. Zenon is my pick, but if he doesn't win here I'm going to stop picking him all the time. MOTIVATION! Singles Match X v. Perfect Bo --X may be around, but I need a life-sign. If I knew he was here I'd pick him over almost anyone--but Bo doesn't look too rusty, and I think having direction heading into the PPV is going to help him. Singles Match Stryke v. Hville Thugg --Well, it looks like Thugg just beat Mag. I think he's still got it. Six Man Tag Match Judge Mental, Danny Williams, & Tom Flesher v. Annie Eclectic, Mak Francis, and El Luchador Magnifico Special Guest Commentator: Frost --Carnies always have had a problem getting organized for stuff like this. Mag especially has been keeping a really low profile of late, and that's going to hurt the Carnie team. The M7 always seems to be able to bring it together. Hoorah, here we go for Flesher to get the leg-up heading into the big show. It's kind of said that most of my picks are predicated not on talent or writing ability, but on if anyone'll write or not. Poo.
