Doom was Ron Simmons and Butch Reed...and, believe it or not, but they could actually work fairly well either.

 

But let's get down to brass tacks.

 

- Please, oh, PLEASE don't tell me that you thought that the Stacy chair shot was anything but a work. The post was there to ensure safety. She had her hand up. The camera was in PERFECT POSITION to capture Jericho's reaction. There was no sign of tissue damage.

 

My question is WHY. WHY in the hell do you take Jericho's plausible sympathy heat from the Rumble and flush it down the toilet. What's the reasoning? NO ONE gets over in this situation. Test is romantically linked to Stacy, but we already knew that. Jericho made the shot, but expressed regret for it. And Stacy's hot.

 

So we do a fake injury angle just so that people can realize that ANYTHING can happen on Raw? WWE, do you honestly think people tune in to watch people get their necks broken from a piledriver? How about people being paralyzed from a power bomb?

 

And even if it was an injury angle to give Stacy some time off, why not pawn it off on some other heel who NEEDS heat and let him do the unremorseful attack on Test while he's concerned about Stacy?

 

Stupid ALL the way around.

 

And I don't even think I need to go into the militant african-american shit that was blatantly thrown in there for MLK day. How much do they pay the genius that looks at the calendar and says "Hey, we're running a tasteless racism angle with D-Lo Brown. Why NOT have him come out and talk shit on Martin Luther King Jr.?"

glad to see the WWE has learned NOTHING from last night. Eh, it's your opinion and you've got a right to one. And, actually, this was better than some of the Raws from the last couple of months. But it still wasn't good, in my opinion, and it's frustrating when the ways to improve are staring them right in the face...maybe that's my own bitter smarkness overriding, who knows?
