Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted January 25, 2003 Kolchak: The Night Stalker. The show that led me down the path to geekdom. From Kolchak I went to X-Files, then to Comic Books, and they took me the rest of the way. Kolchak was the epitomy of a "cult TV show". It starred Darrin McGavin (A Christmas Story) as Karl Kolchak, a reporter for a small independant Chicago newspaper. He would always stumble on to a case of bizarre related murders and always end up destroying the monster with no proof to show for it. Chris Carter has said that Kolchak was the inspiriation for The X-Files, which goes to show just how influencial the show was. There were two TV Movies and one Season made. If anyone has any of the episodes please contact me by PM.

Guest Lethargic Report post Posted January 25, 2003 My Secret Identity..I use to love that show. Dead at 21...MTV show from years ago, cool story, they never finished it though. I've been trying to remember the name of that Secret Identity show since this thread started. I hate Dead at 21. It was MTV's first attempt at a real show and look where it led us. Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Report post Posted January 25, 2003 I never thought that someone would actually like 2Gether, USA High, etc as much as I did. Jackson remains King of the Show...
Guest T®ITEC Report post Posted January 25, 2003 Also, what was the name of the Theme Song for Pete and Pete ? "Hey Sandy", by Polaris. "Hey Dude", from early '90s Nickelodeon was, and is, a great show. Also, "Soap", from the '70s. It's still on TV Land about twice a week. People do seem to remember it more than I would expect, though. Oh, and from the first page... Finding out that Beecher was freakin' Chet from "Weird Science" was a terrifying experience... just now. Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted January 25, 2003 I never thought that someone would actually like 2Gether, USA High, etc as much as I did. Jackson remains King of the Show... Crap, I forgot to put 2Gether! TRITEC, I like Soap, but I wouldn't call that a forgotten show. It's a classic, just like Barney Miller, or Three's Company. How about the old Spider Man live action show. Campy yes, but pretty cool for a kid (though not as cool as The Incredible Hulk). Step By Step was a good show. That's one I haven't heard anyone talk about on here. Oh, and if cartoons count, Bobby's World for sure was a great show.
Guest starvenger Report post Posted January 25, 2003 since you're talking about the live Spider-Man, then you gotta include the Electric Company...
