Guest bob_barron Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 Yes- they're not revealing whether they were correct until after the game
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 Raiders 37 Buccaneers 30 I could very easily reverse these scores as I believe Tampa can win just as much as Oakland, but I can't root for Tampa based on general principle despite my annual NFC support. Also, as Banky mentioned, there's the X Factor of Oakland's players wanting that ring before they retire or the team is broken up due to salary cap restrictions. THRILL as Al Davis headbutts Paul Tagliabue during the postgame celebrations! MY top five Super Bowls: 5. XXV - Edge and Christian's pose ruled. 4. XXXI - DA PACK WON, BAYBEE~! 3. XXXVI - A real thriller, with a great feelgood story to it. 2. XXXIV - STRETCH, DAMMIT! JUST A FEW MORE FEET!!! 1. XXXII - DA PACK lost, but this was a fucking awesome game with two teams beating the shit out of each other and a finish that was in question until the final minute. Seeing Elway get drilled and spun in mid-air makes me misty-eyed. Yeah, I'm a bit biased toward ones I've actually seen, but come on, the last ten years or so have produced much better games. LONG LIVE PARITY!!!
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 Maybe I should revise my pick. This nun is going with the silver and black.
Guest El Satanico Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 Tampa: 28-23 MVP: Derrick Brooks
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 All I have to say is Tampa in a close game because of their defense.
Guest bravesfan Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 LOL...I missed it, who won the coin-toss?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 That INT will be demoralizing..
Guest cartman Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 Maybe to the Tampa offense, but their D will hold up for sure.
Guest bravesfan Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 LMAO at that first commercial....
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 That was cute..the Zebra reviewing the play...er.. FG Oakland
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 DAH! I doubt thats a fumble..
Guest cartman Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 THESE Zebra's are gonna be blatant Raider fans I see.
Guest bravesfan Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 The game picks can be seen in the Predictions Thread...there is ALOT of (LOCK)-ing going on...
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 26, 2003 Report Posted January 26, 2003 Both of those commercials were on headline news' commerical preview thing yesterday..
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 Man, talk about the boring, slow games..this is probably like HHH vs Steiner or any Big Show match..
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 Tampa Bay Interception! End Qtr #1 TB 3 - Oak 3
Guest starvenger Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 Man, making a goalie run in full gear on a beach... that's just cruel!!
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 It looks like Tampa Bays offense is starting to click..
Guest El Satanico Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 If someone on Tampa had hit Rice or Brown in the back of their helmet leading with their forearm like Rod Woodson did to Keyshawn he'd been tossed.
Guest Sandman9000 Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 Jackie Chan and Michael Jordan in the same commercial! Almost done beating it....
Guest cartman Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 Dexter Jackson!!!!!!!!!!! Rich Gannon is surely the MVP...especially in Tampa!
Guest Sandman9000 Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 And another INT for Dexter Jackson.
Guest starvenger Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 Jackie Chan and Michael Jordan in the same commercial! Almost done beating it.... Too much information!!
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 Tampa Bay..Interception #2.. (Hopes that Gannon doesn't throw more than 4 ints..since Collins threw SB Record 4 in the Ravens/Giants SB)
Guest El Satanico Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 Oakland's lucky Keyshawn wasn't going long on that play because Charles Woodson would've been totally burnt after his slip on his first step.
Guest starvenger Posted January 27, 2003 Report Posted January 27, 2003 Poor bastard in that Bud Light ad got crabs...
