Goldberg a smark darling?

Goldberg hates HHH, and his political onslaught.

I hate HHH and his political onslaught.

Most of the IWC now hates HHH and his political onslaught.

Goldberg is more than likely slated to come in soon. He recently stated on an AOL chat he'd like to have a "Shut Your Mouth" match with HHH.

Could his personal hatred for HHH and possible decent matches make him a smark fave? I just don't see Goldberg added to the list of Angle, Eddy, Benoit and Jericho, but it doesn't hurt to speculate.

How do you think the internet wrestling community will embrace bill?

They gave Steiner little hope and he showed just what little hope he has, so far.

The nWo never really got the IWC buzzing enough to give them a chanc, and they are gone.

HBK can't even get any love these days, and rightfully so if you compare him to his previous era.

What does the future hold for Goldberg and the smarks?

Well alright. Got any specific reasons?

Plus the guy doesn't care about the business.

But yeah, Bret Hart is enough for me too.

Yeah I guess that is pretty unforgivable. Did he ever publicly apologise to Bret or even take credit for what eh did?

I don't think people would hate Goldberg so much over the Bret Hart deal if Goldberg had expressed some regret over it. I don't think he ever has. On his 2nd RF Shoot, Bret did take Goldberg to task for not protecting him on the kick and the ringpost figure four spot.

Hating Goldberg just because he accidently injured Hart isn't a great reason to hate him.

Fellas, Owen Hart did break SCSA neck, but do we hear hate for him? Nope.

I'd like to see Goldberg come in, only if is willing to job to certain wrestlers. Other than that, he can stay away.

I would like to see how others took that kick before Bret. I know it was mis-timed and it was Goldberg's fault, but it was a signature move he did often, and I refuse to believe he threw it any diffrently than he would with someone else in there. Too many people took that the same way for Goldberg to just bust it out of nowhere and totally kill someone's career with it. The whole ordeal is just fucked up to me.

Saying he was above working with people like RVD.

It's a damned fine reason to hate Goldberg. Austin could wrestle again, Bret could not. 'Nuff said. If Owen had hurt Austin to the point where he couldn't wrestle again I'm sure there would be negativity towards him.

Hating Goldberg for ending Bret's career is stupid... as Molestomp said, Owen almost ended Austin's career too

However, hating Goldberg because he's a pompous ass that thinks he's God's gift to wrestling isn't so stupid... and that's the reason I also say "fuck Goldberg"

It wasn't just the kick that hurt Bret. It was a forearm and the ringpost figure four that hurt him in that match to.

And I really will accept ANYONE now that can tell HHH to go to hell.

What has HHH ever done to Goldberg? I know HHH hasn't done anything to any of use. But he's held down people we like (Jericho, RVD). If anyone has a right to say they hate HHH, Goldberg isn't one of them.

Goldberg took offence to comments HGH made on a radio show in late '98. HGH had said Goldberg was a flash in the pan, had no talent, and Vince would never hire him.

There was some beef at some convention both men were present for, and Trips had some ill words for Goldberg on a radio show, and Goldberg saw Trips, and it almost came to blows.

If I remember right Goldberg stood there in front of kids and there parents and cussed HHH out while HHH just smiled in his face.

I dunno.....I think Goldberg could probably whip HHH's ass in a straight fight.

All Goldberg has to do is distract HGH with a vial of Dianabol, and then KO him with a punch to the temple.

Believe it or not, but I've heard Goldberg is trained in sambo. Triple H = dead meat.

HHH bashed Goldberg good on Tough Enough 1.

He deserved it though.

Everyone go read my TNA preview on the main page. I mention Goldberg and why he is the dirtiest word in wrestling.

HHH's actions in the recent couple of years have taken away anything he has ever done in 2000, in my eyes. The guy has totally abused any push he ever got, and unless he improves in strides I will relish the moment someone shoots on his ass and kills his ego, thus finally making him realize he's still a pussy even with 75 pounds of extra water.

I'll take Triple H on his worst day over Goldberg on his Best.

So basically Goldberg doesn't have any real reason to hate HHH. When HHH has you picking up Lucy's dogshit, than you have a reason to hate the guy.

If a fight ever broke out between those two overpushed, undertalented pieces of shit, HHH would tear his quad from the start, and as he doubled over in pain, Goldberg's cowardly sucker punch would miss completely and strike a nearby car window, severing all the nerves and tendons in his arm.

I would then suffer a collapsed lung from the ensuing laughter.

No way would these two ever be considered smark darlings. No way, no day.

No way no HOW. HHH was worked his way up to running the business, but at least he stil seems to respect it from time to time.

Goldberg treats wrestling as a cheap meal ticket and has overinflated delusions of his own self-worth to the industry.

HHH is probably closer to a smark than most people in the company, aside from guys like Edge who started out as fans and eventually became wrestlers. The guy gushes about watching Flair/Steamboat when he was younger, and goes on like you'd think he's some kind of workrate nut. Not only did he work his ass off in 2000, but he also used politics to make his way to the top. I can't really think of anyone here who wouldn't do that if they saw the opening, though.

Unfortunately, workrate and his passion for "bodybuilding" (I'm stretching that phrase and you damn well know it) don't go well together. They never do. Go ask Scott Steiner if you need proof of it.

I haven't liked HHH for a year now, so don't think this is some big Defending HHH post or anything, but if you wanted to talk about who was supposed to be a smark darling....

Even after all the bullshit of the past year...

...I'd still take HHH over Goldberg.

Going by memory here, at least one reason why Goldberg doesn't like HHH is because he questioned how bad Goldberg's forearm injury was that put him on the sidelines for awhile. To me, that's a real big putdown to anyone and a very valid reason to be angry.
