Oil slicks, giant banana peels, 3 foot thick concrete poles, machine gun nests, things like that. I'd definitely watch then. As it stands, there's only a few things I'd call a sport. The things that go into racing are immense. We could talk mechanics, pit strategy, track strategy, and so on all day. All it proves is that not only is it a sport, but a team sport. The fact that average, untrained people cannot perform an activity at some predefined level of competence does not make that activity a sport. It's a very physically demanding game that requires tons of skill and is a very hard game to be good at. Saying soccer is not a sport is like if someone said ice hockey isn't a sport. Oh wait... I just think since so much goes into racing, in general, and the height of competition is so high that you pretty much have to call it a sport. Plus it has been called a sport for years now. But going to the mini golf and riding go-carts isn't a sport. But racing go-carts professionally is. Because the bulid their own carts, just like F1 and NASCAR. And soccoer is definatley a sport. People for years have been calling racing a sport, but I have never heard anyone say that playing a game on a computer is a sport. So then let's see how far the cars would get without the drivers.
