Guest Celtic Jobber Report post Posted January 29, 2003 Maybe I'm just jaded but I thought RAW was horrible last night.
Guest jester Report post Posted January 29, 2003 The Raw ratings just might go down again when the fans realize they aren't delivering him until NWO. If they deliver him at all. And if they don't, the ratings will be in toilet for a long time.
Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted January 29, 2003 It should have been 2.3 for having Booker curtain jerk and have Steiner get his ass kicked again. Or you can look at it in a more positive way in that Booker could have got the ball rolling right from the start. As for Steiner...... no comment. You got a point about Booker....... But Steiner deserves more than 2 exact beatdowns in a row. He's a legend, he's past his prime and he's still the future of pro wrestling. He's ultra charismatic and have extra unique mic ability. The guy is in great shape and has an insane amount of strenght.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted January 29, 2003 It didn't suck horribley but it wasn't really good. It lacked great wrestling IMO.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted January 29, 2003 The ratings boost must be due to all these fans tuning in hoping that the Dudleys will get revenge on Chief Morley, Regal, Storm, and 3MW.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted January 29, 2003 My favorite match of the night was the women's match.. and I hate women's wrestling. Go figure.

He's past his prime but he isn't the future of anything but Triple H, and Superstar Billy Graham is the future of both of them. He isn't charismatic but he is...er...unique on the mic. He's not in great shape but he's strong, but broken down and needs to retire.

This is the only segment that I changed the channel for last night. I like Regal and he's good on the mic, but his wrestling is pretty boring. Chief Morley and 3MW are the worst people on Raw right now and I'm just tired of the Dudley's and the whole table thing.
Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2003 MNF has been off for a while and RAW has still had bad ratings. It's not because of MNF going off. Not true. Raw got over a 3.5 rating only one time during the last 9 weeks in went up against MNF MNF ends, and Raw has gotten a 3.6 3.9 3.8 4.1 in the last four weeks. Guest Brian Report post Posted January 29, 2003 Didn't anybody read the article Keller wrote about how MNF doesn't make that much of a dent on the ratings.

JasonX 0 Report post Posted January 29, 2003 What is HHH going to do if ratings get up to the 5s when Austin actually appears? My guess will be that he'll convince Vince to put Austin on SD the week after Austin returns and then start politicing over how HE'S the reason Raw is getting big ratings... That or he'll insist that Austin has to receive punishment for desertion by way of jobbing at WM to HHH....
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted January 29, 2003 What is HHH going to do if ratings get up to the 5s when Austin actually appears? It might be in the fives for a week or two, but Austin's return won't make the ratings go that high for long.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted January 29, 2003 With consistent good storylines(which they need to keep steve happy) then yeah the ratings will stay in the 5's.
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted January 29, 2003 Even with great storylines (which is wishful thinking at this point), the ratings won't magically be and stay at the 5's, even with Austin. IIRC, ratings were going down when Austin was still around anyways/

It might be in the fives for a week or two, but Austin's return won't make the ratings go that high for long. Hypothetically speaking, if that were to happen for a sustained period though, based on the blind love Triple H seems to get from the front office, they could easily attribute a big amount of that rating to the fans digging the storyline of Triple H's stable. (Come on, this is the company that blamed Edge for not carrying A-friggin-Train to 3-4 star matches. You don't think they'd find a way to give Austin AND Triple H credit?) Trips: "My stable was just gelling. The fans want more of me, Basted, and Ricky Olson." Anyobdy: "Um...it's Batista and Randy Orton." Trips: "I AM THE GAME!" (dribbles Evian water onto a napkin...he's a Horseman now, etiquette required) EDIT: Didn't see Downhome's post earlier, didn't mean to totally steal his idea.
