Guest Mulatto Heat Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 Okay, I'll do my good deed for the week. Rey Mysterio vs. A-Train Eddie Guerrero vs. John Cena Billy Kidman vs. Shannon Moore (non-title match) Rikishi vs. Bill DeMott Chris Benoit & Edge vs. Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin (#1 contenders match for the Tag titles)
Guest chirs3 Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 Rey Mysterio vs. A-Train - If Rey Mysterio is in a match, it will at least be watchable. Eddie Guerrero vs. John Cena - Eeeeh... maybe. Billy Kidman vs. Shannon Moore (non-title match) - As long as it's an actual match, and not another whipping for the MF'er, neato. Rikishi vs. Bill DeMott - I bet this match is going to be repeated over and over and over, until we remember when Dawn/Torrie was a short feud in comparison. Chris Benoit & Edge vs. Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin (#1 contenders match for the Tag titles) - Leading to Team Angle vs. Los Guerreros?! YES! And even if not? YES!
Guest tank_abbott Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 SPOILER!!! I was there live...no matches of note... Nathan Jones wrestled Kanyon in a dark match that started hot, but Jones inabilities put the crowd to sleep And Hogan made no appearence, but Vince declared Rock/ Hogan 2 for NO WAY OUT Rock gave a interview from Hollywood...and the crowd cheered him (He was booed when shown on the WWE History Video earlier in the night)
Guest art_vandelay Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 Please don't post spoilers, albeit minor ones, in a non-spoiler thread. Also, a new star makes his debut on Smackdown this week.
Guest tank_abbott Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 oops Sorry...at least I wrote SPOILER!! Hides meekly in corner
Guest Youth N Asia Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 Rey Mysterio vs. A-Train: I can't make myself care for this, I tend to do other things when Albert's on Eddie Guerrero vs. John Cena: Should be good, I like both guys. Redd Dogg still sucks like he did years ago though Billy Kidman vs. Shannon Moore (non-title match): Should be good, although Kidman is so bland these days. Rikishi vs. Bill DeMott: I don't watch Rikishi matches anymore, I'll be pooping or doing something else Chris Benoit & Edge vs. Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin (#1 contenders match for the Tag titles): Looks good on paper, although I don't think these 2 should be getting main event matches all the time, they just showed up. Sadly Smackdown is pre empted in Detroit, so I'll have to wait till Sunday.
Guest CanadianChick Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 Rey Mysterio vs. A-Train-Well, Rey's there, but so is A-Train. They kinda cancel each other out really....so this could be a so-so match. Eddie Guerrero vs. John Cena-This should be pretty good if it gets time. Kidman vs. Shannon Moore (non-title match)-Back and Forth match=good, Squash=BAD Rikishi vs. Bill DeMott-Yes, because this match has been so great the last two times that I have to see it again! This will be my weekly snack/bathroom break Chris Benoit & Edge vs. Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin (#1 contenders match for the Tag titles)-Should be a good match. Maybe Team Angle could win with interference from Angle setting up a rematch with Angle/Benoit...but what will Edge do?
Guest El Satanico Posted January 29, 2003 Report Posted January 29, 2003 What about the velocity matches?
Guest ManKinnd Posted January 30, 2003 Report Posted January 30, 2003 I'd have to say Rey is up there with Flair with carrying people. He can get a watchable match out of ANYONE.
