Wrestlers/gimmicks you enjoy

I marked for Shamrock too. Sure, he needed to be carried during his matches, but with the right workers he could put on awesome matches. Like the fued with Owen Hart.

Count me among the Dean Douglas fans. From the promos to the theme music to his dick-headed nature as a character, I loved his all-too brief run.

I still like Christopher Nowinski a lot too, even though his character could use an update somehow. (Hmm...I'm sensing a trend here as far as my favorite heels go.)

And last (and shamefully least)...Dink. God bless Dink.

For some reason I really like Jorge Estrada.

OH! I totally forgot to add him too! I dug the entire Flying Elvises storyline and for some reason, found the theme to be damn catchy. Plus, I don't think he's quite as bad as his rep finds him to be.

To also add another WWE name, "Man's Man" Steven Regal cracked me up to no end. It was a decent shot at trying to market his tough guy status. (Ok...maybe not decent but who doesn't love the theme song?)

The Hurricane as a character entertains me to no end as well. The Gregory Helms: Ace Reporter stuff was a brilliant addition.

I did actually think three count was a cool gimmick. And yes, Tank Abbott being their groupie was even better. No honestly, it cracked me up at the time. Like he was gonna get over as a legit tough guy.

I really liked Crowbar with Dafney...one of WCW's bright spots back then, and they still managed to ruin it.

Firing Dafney but re-signing Ms Jones in the same week...I just couldn't compute what WCW was doing back then.

Tank Abbott's love for 3 Count was great. Especially when he would start threatening them to perform.

I liked 3 Count as well. They were just such dicks, and most of them could usually back it up in the ring (ie. not Karagias).

That was the beginning of the Helms-markdom I still hold to this day.

Neither do I. Yes, he blows spots, but I've seen worse. And the Elvis theme RULES. You know what other theme I miss? America's Most Wanted's first one.

I really liked that one too! It came off as a great theme for a face. Something for the crowd to rally behind them with.

And you are right about Estrada. Does he blow spots? Yes. But I've seen most of his matches in TNA and there is only one where I thought he actively brought it down. (Him vs. Kid Kash in December.) That's it. Out of countless other matches, he's just plain sucked in one imo. Not too bad of a ratio for someone as disliked as I sense he is.

Oh...and great points about 3-Count guys. They were a perfect blend of comedy and heeldom. (They weren't disregarded as jokes...they were Honky Tonk Man type heels who were also funny.)

You actually like watching Rikishi work?

He's the only wrestler I boycott when he's on tv

I can't stand the Insane Clow Posse but I loved it when they formed the Dead Pool with Raven and Vampiro.

I was pissed that Raven bolted when they could've been huge.

Barry Darrsow the Golf Pro was just funny as hell to see on WCW weekend shows.

Headbangers and TOO MUCH were good tag teams with evil loud gimmicks, the stupid oversize bras and gay gimmick hurt the teams.......Pat Patterson you suck.

TOO much and the Headbangers kicked ass...I didn't list them cause I had a legit reason to like the teams.

I liked Yoshi Kwan from WCW in the early 90s...evil Japanese guy who used nerve holds as finishers.

I like A-Train and X-Pac. I also have no problem like everyone else with Jackie.
