Guest LooseCannon Report post Posted January 30, 2003 The key to the "man walks into a bar" joke is that it subverts the whole "man walking into a bar" genre. It turns that sucker on its head, it does. What's funny is not the actual walking into of the bar...it's the sudden, unexpected punchline. Although, frankly, I've told the joke about fifty times over the last three years and I'm the only one who's ever laughed. yeah, I know, I was joking about the "physical humor" line.
