Sort of, but she'd really only do it to whoever they were feuding with or if the heel would start the cheating, and she'd even up the odds. I'm thinking that she should just do it for the sake of Matt winning, not to further feuds or get the heel back.

It won't be a very deep character, granted, but the catchphrases are funny, you could have a Version One chant, and it's better than the "He's SO xxxxxxxxxxx-treeeeeme OH MYGOD HE JUST TOOK OFF HIS SHIRT" character he had going before

It just doesn't make sense... I look at Matt Hardy and I see a very good worker, with a very bankable gimmick... and as far as I know, he is a very well liked and respected person in the locker room (credit EWR) so what is the logic in trying to bury him?

Because Johnny Ace is a bitter washed-up never-was who like Shane Douglas, who still is made at being forced into the ultra-lame blow-job tag team "The Dynamic Dudes" which killed his credibility in the US and forced him to go into exile in Japan because no one would give him a chance to reinvent himself as something other than a pretty boy who kept getting the shit kicked out of him while the fans were screaming obsenities at him.

 

He most likely sees a younger version of himself in Matt Hardy and has privately decided that if it's the last thing he'll do, that he'll ruin Matt's career so that he'll end up a complete and total failure just like him....

No, that was Mike Graham. Ace took over booking when Russo got hurt in late 2000. He (Ace) was booking the final months of WCW.

You can still be a "heel" if the fans like you. Just look at Jericho and RVD. Simply put, SOME fans don't care if you're a heel or a face. Some fans just cheer if you entertain them and/or are a good worker. Heck, RVD and Jericho both played to the fans in their first run as "heels." Insulting the audience, in my opinion, is a cheap way to get heel heat. Besides, even the so-called female "heels" get cheered. I say let Matt get cheers and act the same way he always does.
