Boy, do I get no sold a lot.......

I've noticed this, and I too have wondered why. I think it's not because you're too smart (since you can never be too smart... I think...) but rather because the way you word some things makes it difficult for dialogue. This isn't all the time of course, a lot of the time your stuff just gets no-sold for no reason that I can make out, but in this case it was the case. Wow, that was really redundant.

 

Anyway... in regards to what you said about "good controversy", I think that's an oxymoron. There's controversy that, in retrospect, can be seen as vital and necessary for a society to develop (e.g. Galileo, Deep Throat, etc.), but at the time its going on, no controversy is ever good. Well, I shouldn't say no and ever, but no controversy I can recall.

You can't knock my intelligence because you can't understand the way my posts flow sometimes. I just start typing. I'm not going to sit here and think hard about what I'm going to say, it's straight from the heart.

 

I don't speel check or grammar check. If you have some kind of problem and can't make something out, you can at least see the gist of the post and ask me to clarify something.

 

I'm not the smartest guy on this board but you are way off there, evenflow. I remember you asking some questions about Raven back in the day even marks would no, mainly because you hadn't seen his work of the past. Yet you still pimped the guy like he was your favorite ever. I wouldn't call that smart, but that means nothing when taking into consideration your itelligence.

 

And no, this is not a shot at you at all. I like you a lot, we just don't really cross paths. Before you finish reading this, I apologise in advance if I didn't understand YOUR post. It just looked to me like you don't feel my comments seem intelligent and so you and others blow them off because I sound like an idiot.

 

To explain my above post about good contorversy, I meant it like this. It's almost a sin on here with the masses to post anything worth a shit. To me if, you do something out of the oridnary (Especially in the WWE folder) thats controversial, it should get people talking.

 

Posting something worth while and carrying on good conversation in folders like that is something you don't see much. In my definition, it would be controversial (The more I think about it, that may be a bad word choice.)

Whoa, talk about grammar issues. Sorry, I in no way meant to imply that you were an idiot or anything. When I went not too smart, I actually meant that you write a lot, and in my ignorance/attention deficited state I'll often skip through these for being "too smart". Some of your posts are like this for me, although I shouldn't really criticize because I can often do the same thing in my writing (hell, I couldn't even get through my review of El Crimen del Padre Amaro and I wrote the damn thing!). Downhome has a habit of doing the same thing.

 

Do I really pimp Raven that much? Hmmm. You're right though, in retrospect, I still haven't even seen his "prime" in ECW, but I guess in my ignorant state I used that as further proof... "I haven't even seen this guy's best stuff and he's my favorite, OMG HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE HIM LoLZ~>?~!@" Ahh, ignorance is bliss.

 

Again, forgive my poor use of sentence structure. As for your clarification on "good controversy", I understand now and agree fully. However, I'm as good an example of any as to why that doesn't work - I just admitted I get bored and can't sit through a long, well-thought out post. Sad but true. I can't be the only one.
