When I came up with the idea of this forum, the ideal atmosphere I had in mind would be a carefree one full of educated and sophiscated conversation, in which posters can listen, debate, and learn from other posters on the internet (which is a hard feat to accomplish, considering the nature of the internet). The thought of a forum where more established posters didn't have to worry about welcoming newbies who have an IQ of 75 just came to me after I watched TSM get overrun with a lot of dumb markish sheep. Now, the Underground Smarks is not an exclusive club of elitists, thinking that we are above anyone else. I just feel that UGS is an environment fit for the educated poster. That's pretty much all there is to it. Anyone is welcome, but don't confuse a high level of tolerance with ignorance and gullability. UGS is, like I have stated, solely for the educated poster. I believe that a 'net wrestling community where guys can learn from each other is the best thing that us wrestling maniacs can have. That is all, guys.

And I am ultimately in debt for everyone at UGS for keeping it running strong. I know everyone there is a well-rounded poster, and I look forward to great times ahead for UGS.

I have been posting there for maybe a day now, but I can see this definitely has legs. Much props to Banky and IDRM, and all who put this together. There aren't 50 replies to each topic, and that takes time to get used to. Fact is, though, when you weed out the bullshit and trolls from topics here, that's what you get. Funny, I was a member of the "Underground Smarks" here. That never truned oout like it should have, but here's to the new UGS thriving. I just want to encourage posting there as I really enjoy it.

In no way, I believe, is anyone bashing TSM. Every board has their own good and bad aspects. No one is perfect, it's good to be competitive so long as it doesn't get out of hand.
