Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted February 1, 2003 My point: people who don't care about sports care about the Super Bowl. They don't about the World Series. I definetly agree with that statement. But is that necessarily a good thing? In terms of ratings it matters, but so what if someone who doesn't like or follow sports likes the Super Bowl.
Guest alkeiper Report post Posted February 1, 2003 3) That's kinda biased. You can just as easily go to a High School Football game or a college football game. There are tons around. Not around my area. In my county, there's East Stroudsburg University. Beyond that, all there is within an hour is Lafayette and Lehigh. High school football locally is a joke. There's an Arena II football team in Wilkes-Barre, but they're not very good.
