Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted January 31, 2003 I think, after reading what has happened with wrestling the past couple of months, that the WWE was trying to find which direction they should head in. Bringing back Austin for one last good run is a look in the right direction because I believe Austin would want to end his career on a good note (like putting over someone like Angle). Vince should really depend on the wrestlers to dictate the pace of pro-wrestling, rather than writers/plotters, because it is a wrestling program, not a sitcom. Long-term thinking should ultimately replace this short-term BS that Vince is spewing to the fans. BTW, is it just me, or is The Rock losing a lot of his fan-base because of his movie ventures? I've been hearing that fans are chanting sell-out to him. Hopefully Vince sees this as an obvious vehicle for a MUCH needed heel turn.
Guest Mad Dog Report post Posted January 31, 2003 The WWF will never get better until they have a major change in attitude. When Vince swallows the ego and starts listening to the fans instead of trying to tell them what they like it will get better. Until then anything of interest will have the rug pulled out from under it.

Guest TheyCallMeMark Report post Posted February 1, 2003 Only a few months ago I was glued to my screen watching Eddie Guerrero show off in the ring with Edge, who struggled to try to keep up. There were helacious bumps. There was a bit of a story. The psych flew around with the wrestlers. It was strangley cohesive, and produced my personal MOTY (at around ***3/4... I don't watch alot of wrestling). This month I haven't gotten through a single SD!. All I've seen has been some crusier matches. Everything in the show after that kills it for me. I am sad that I cannot make it to see Benoit carry some green amature punks but I cannot stand interviews and backstage segments with dead guys sporting wood and women with more silicone in their lips than brains in their head slapping eachother then debating with themselves how much it hurt. That accompanied by the return of one extremly old man who constantly talks and sucks at it, then also sucks when he gets in the ring. The Rock coming back doesn't particularly satisfy me either, because even though I enjoy his ringwork immensely it means Vince still hasn't realized that the key to success isn't bringing people back even though it failed him at least four times last year. Honestly I wish Rock, Austin and Hogan would all stay the fuck away from the WWE. Vince needs to be FORCED to leave this "attitude" BULLSHIT behind. Sorry, got off track there. I'm kind of sick and my brain isn't operating property. The point is I think that Vince had a GOOD SHOW before the end of the year, but then he decided to put the belt of the Big Shit and push Hairy Hoss, it's been totally downhill since.
