"FWA TO BRING RING OF HONOR TO FANS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM

The UK's Frontier Wrestling Alliance confirmed today

that their next show at London's prestigious York

Hall in Bethnal Green will be a joint show with US

indy promotion Ring of Honor.

 

The show takes place on Sunday 17th May and will

feature the cream of the FWA in matches with the cream of RoH.

 

Ring of Honor began a year ago and instantly their

shows have become some of the most sought after

videos in wrestling fandom today. FWA Heavyweight

Champion Christopher Daniels, and FWA stars Jody

Fleisch, Doug Williams, Jonny Storm and AJ Styles

have all competed there. Also making Ring of Honor

one of their homes are such independent stars as Low

Ki, Steve Corino, American Dragon and The Amazing Red.

 

The new FWA Director of Operations said: “With such

talent moving frequently back and forth across the

Atlantic it seemed an obvious move to one day promote

a joint show where UK fans would not only get to see

their favourite Ring of Honor stars live for the

first time but they could see them on the same bill

as their favourite British wrestling stars.”

That is awesome news. I was just going to post it myself lol

 

Im kinda let down that it isnt a perminant thing, like with XPW. But I guess that we could see that develop if all goes well in may. Cant complain really though.

 

The only thing I would say though, is that the FWA should put tickets on sale at the March show at Broxbourne. That way regulars wont get screwed out of not being able to get tickets. You can bet your arse this is gonna sell out, and I can just see myself at one end of the phone hearing "sorry all tickets have sold out".

 

Whos with me on that one. I think its a good idea.

Yep, I read this a coupla days ago. Good stuff. Can't wait to see American Dragon over here. What's the chance Chris Daniels successfully defends the title until this event?
