Guest PhillyDogg Report post Posted February 1, 2003 Bret Hart vs Owen Hart, that feud lasted January 94 to about January 95 also Hogan vs Earthquake was too long too, that feud should ended at the Survior Series 90, but last another two months.

Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted February 1, 2003 The blowoff to Bret/Owen occurred at the March to Wrestlemania XI episode of RAW when Bret defeated Owen in a No Holds Barred match. Vince/Austin should have ended at Wrestlemania XV, period. But it continued until July, long after it ceased to mean anything. From WCW, Sting/NWO in in 1996-1998 lasted way too long, and had a bad ending to boot (an anticlimatic win for Sting at Superbrawl 98, two months after he should have crushed Hogan at Starrcade). Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted February 1, 2003 An obvious choice is the Torrie/Dawn feud...it was a crappy and long feud and it didn't even involve any actual wrestlers. That's three strikes against it. I second the notion of Austin/McMahon...it was good but after a while it got old fast.
Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted February 1, 2003 Austin/McMahon should've ended with the supposed "End of an Era" match where we were "never supposed to see Vince McMahon on television again". So much for that storyline. NWO vs. WCW went on for faaarr too long and gave birth to the likes of Wolfpac and a bunch of other crap we don't have to get into. The thing about the McMahon ban, with me, was that I didn't wan't him off TV at the time. At the time I loved watching them feud! I rember thinking "How in the hell will they pull this off? Vince has to be on TV!"

I rember thinking "How in the hell will they pull this off? Vince has to be on TV!" ...and they made up for it by having Shane on TV. But still, Vince came back 2 months later to win the WWF Title. The Dames 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2003 Bret Hart vs Owen Hart, that feud lasted January 94 to about January 95. The feud lasted long, but back then, the WWF only had 5 PPV's a year and they only wrestled each other on two of them. It's not like they were always at each other's throats the entire time too. Owen took the time out to win the King of the Ring and do all of that before facing Bret again at SummerSlam and Bret had to deal with Bob Backlund afterwards. Granted, Owen was involved in that match, but after that Bret then went onto try and win the title from Diesel. Owen simply kept interjecting himself, stretching out the feud. Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted February 1, 2003 HHH vs Kane is still on.......4 Uh Men stole the mask They blew that one off though. This is a new fued. Or maybe Kane joins. Who cares?
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 1, 2003 If he Joins...I'd imagine they have him Maskless...Which makes no sense...This is the 5th time Kane's mask has been taken off...3rd time by HHH...I thought HHH already had pictures of this...Why didn't he just show them during the fued of the century? Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted February 1, 2003 If he's maskless, then fine. Only smarks remember Isaac Yankem anyway. And they already know about Kane being him. Stacy: "A dentist with bad teeth?" Crowd: "KAAAANE!!"
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted February 1, 2003 Angle/Benoit circa 2002. Week in and week out of stupid assed "make them look like morons" for FOUR months with absolutely NO point to it, because no one turned. And the it just kind of died out after Survivor Series Now, after it started up again 2003 aafter a month off with no real blow off, they did it right. This is how the feud should have been booked. Of course, you can look at it as one really long feud that doesn't suck.

Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted February 1, 2003 Molly/Trish was March-September. Plus it involved two girls who could actually wrestle. Although I do hate how WWE only runs ONE women's angle at a time, then they drag it out ludicrously long.
Guest papacita Report post Posted February 1, 2003 Mankind/Taker from KOTR 96 to KOTR 98. You're talking about two separate feuds, the first starting around WM12 and ending around Revenge of the Taker in 97, and the second starting a little before KOTR 98 to solidify Foley as McMahon's cronie. The two even teamed up at least once in the summer of 97. /nitpicking For me, RVD and Jerry Lynn from ECW, Chyna Vs Jarrett (entertaining feud IMO, but should've ended at Unforgiven), Austin Vs McMahon, and the whole HHH/Steph/Angle saga really went on too damn long. Guest Bricks Report post Posted February 1, 2003 Torrie vs Dawn. Oh God! All those months just so they can bill it as a "Stepdaughter vs Stepmom" match. Yup, I'm convinced that was the whole purpose of the feud. Austin vs Vince. Vince should've just left the day after WM15 when his chosen champ in Rock couldn't beat Austin.
Guest Mole Report post Posted February 1, 2003 Yes, Edge/Regal was WAY too long. Jericho/Regal was pretty long and boring too, wasn't it? Austin/Angle went pretty long. I had no problem with it because they were putting on ****+ matches left and right. Rock/Mankind was pretty long feud also. I am sure the wrestling would of been better if Mr. Russo wasn't booking during this time. That's all I can think of for now.
