Guest DarthLordOfWrestling Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 I'd say this Victoria/Trish thing has been going one for quite a while. Didn't Molly/Trish go on longer? I think Trish victoria gonna last a while. The 1 of those two are going to fued with Jazz. Wow that will suck.
Guest BDC Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 ANY angle involving the nWo. Period.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 A classic example of a feud going on too long was Honkytonk Man/Brutus Beefcake from 1988. It dragged on for months until by the time they decided to have the blowoff, nobody cared, so it got switched to Warrior/Honky instead while Beefcake got stuck in a lame feud with Ron Bass.

However, my prediction is that Trish will beat Victoria at WM and win the title. Then Trish will feud with Jazz, AGAIN. Victoria is injured, so that is why I figure this will happen. There goes that Jazz/Victoria match tons of people have been waiting for, except for me.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 HHH doesn't have pics of Kane's face. Remember GTV reveals that Brisco/Patterson screwed up the film.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 What was the blowoff of Austin vs McMahon?
Guest Space_Cowboy Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Edge/Regal definately, it felt like that feud went on for like a year, nobody gave a shit after the first month of it, let alone the 4th or 5th month or whenever it ended. In WCW the Vampiro/Sting feud was alright at the beginning, but it ended up going WAY past the point of anyone caring, and by the end was just garbage with the ICP and Great Muta involved, i don't think they ever really blew it off, somebody just mercifully killed it. The 3 Count/Jung Dragons feud and it's variations went on for many many months, though in that case it was alright since we got good TV and PPV matches out of it every month, and we also got to see Tank Abbott the 3 Count fan.
Guest kurtangledoesnotsuck Posted February 1, 2003 Report Posted February 1, 2003 Bill DeMott - Rikishi If you are gonna do physchology, do it right. Also Regal/Storm vs Dudleys Kill this now.
Guest Choken One Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 HHH doesn't have pics of Kane's face. Remember GTV reveals that Brisco/Patterson screwed up the film. Damn. I totally forgotten about that...Good thinking Man...
Guest evlpurpose Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 What, no Sting-Vader feud in here? IIRC that feud lasted a good three years before ending.
Guest edotherocket Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 Rugged Ronnie Garvin and Greg The Hammer Valentine.
Guest converge241 Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 Al Snow vs Bossman Torrie vs Dawn Marie WCW vs NWO - this one being the worst
Guest Goodear Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 Drawing feuds out too long basically killed ECW dead by the end. Maybe the best example was Taz vs. Sabu. As soon as Taz joined Fonzie, the match was pretty much set, but they dragged out way too long before they got to the Barely Legal PPV. Basically Paul just kept the two guys seperate for the majority of the shows while Taz went on the path of rage. But you just kept thinking to yourself why the hell didn't they just fight already. By the time the match came around, Sabu and Taz pull the double turn and then don't revisit the feud and blow it off... Paul always has this problem.
Guest converge241 Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 yes dragging out feuds without the 2 wrestling can be equally as damaging as having the matches again and again after a while the fact that Taz just didnt attack him and beat the hell out of him or vice versa really hinders the suspension of disbeleif
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 What, no Sting-Vader feud in here? IIRC that feud lasted a good three years before ending. Sting/Vader rocked the whole time, though.
Guest Midnight Express83 Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 Sting vs Vader was as long as Flair vs Dusty. But in both cases, the matches were good enough to keep people hooked. Plus spaced enough to make them not boring and over done(coughcoughRVD vs Lynncoughcough)
Guest converge241 Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 Sting- Vampiro especially after the graveyard
Agent_Bond34 Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 What was the blowoff of Austin vs McMahon? The 'End of an Era' match between Austin and The Undertaker at Fully Loaded 1999, which took Vince off of TV for a while and thus ended the feud.
