Guest TheBostonStrangler Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 SWF Storm for Friday, February 7th, 2003! Due Date: Friday @ 5 PM EST Venue: The Civic Center in Hartford, Connecticut! Send all marked matches and promos to Grand Slam First of all, I'd like to say a few things. - To the people who showed for Clusterfuck: You all did a truly trememdous job. Bo's match was extremely good and brutal. HVT truly took a beating. Clusterfuck matches were absolutely incredible. I can't speak for Ejiro and Craven (although I believe Ejiro's match finished second overall), but Mak, Frost, and TNT (obviously) all wrote great stuff. Mak's perspective was incredible, Frost somehow managed to have 10 people in the ring at once and not totally lose me, and TNT wrote an incredibly solid match that had no weak points. Kudos. And King has told me that the title match was EXTREMELY close. I need to find time to sit down and read both matches. Congrats to all of you. - To those who DIDN'T show: I already laid into some people. King has expressed his displeasure. However, I've gotten it out of my system. I can forgive and forget. Therefore, you will NOT be punished on this show (the three people eliminated first in the Clusterfuck will be punished on the next show). However, I am a man who gives two chances, and two chances only. Therefore, anyone who no-showed Clusterfuck and also no-shows this card will be in a LOT of trouble. I'm talking suspensions here. So don't blow your second chance. This is a nice normal show, with reasonable word limits. No excuses for no-showing this one. And now, ON WITH THE SHOW! ****************** OPENING PROMO TNT SPEAKS!!! TNT shocked the world on Sunday night when he triumphed at Clusterfuck, overcoming incredible odds with a truly superb effort. Tonight, TNT gets a chance to rest. Instead, he gets a chance to talk to YOU, the SWF fans, about what's on his mind. Will he reveal his stipulation for his upcoming title match at the next SWF PPV with El Luchadore Magnifico? Will he have words for other men from Clusterfuck? Will the man who lost to ELM, Tom Flesher, make an appearance? Will Stone Froze steal the spotlight? Find out as we kick off Storm! HARDCORE HANDICAP MATCH Tom Flesher/Frost vs. Xero Tom Flesher had a tough loss at Clusterfuck, when he tapped out to the Sangria Stretch to lose his SWF World Title shot. Before Flesher can put himself into position to get another title shot, he has a chance to let out a little bit of his anger out. Frost, who suffered a loss in the Clusterfuck match, which was ultimately won by his former tag team partner TNT, is also raring to go let some agression out. Xero is upset that he was unable to make more of an impact on the Clusterfuck, and asked for any match possible to show what he could do. This might be more than he wanted, however. Can Tom Flesher and Frost, who seem to have had some differences in the past, work together to defeat the awesome power that is Xero? Or will the crafty Canadian pit these two M7 powerhouses against each other to get the win? Rules: Both Flesher and Frost can be in the ring at once. Falls count anywhere. Pinfall/submission to win. Word Count: 4000 Send To: TheBostonStrangler SIX MAN TAG MATCH Magnificent Seven (Judge Mental, Ejiro Fasaki, Fugue) vs. Longdogger Pete, Wildchild, and Johnny Dangerous This match has some interesting history behind it. With Fugue and Ejiro now senior members of the Magnificent Seven, and with Wildchild and Dangerous also joining the big leagues, these four prepare to take it to the next level of competition. However, Longdogger Pete has issues with Ejiro, stemming from a confrontation and match they had while Ejiro was still in the SJL. To even up the odds, Judge Mental teams up with the newest members of his clan to take on those horrible good guys. Rules: This is fought under standard tag team rules. One man from each team in the ring at once. First team to score a pinfall/submission is the winner. DQ is in effect, no countout Word Count: 5500 Send To:chirs3 SINGLES MATCH CIA vs. Stryke Both men are looking for some direction in the SWF, but both men have also been winning a fair amount. A win here could move them into contention for Frost's ICTV Title. A loss here could leave them where they are right now. Therefore, they fight to find out who the better man is. It IS a Canadian and an Aussie, however, so I'm sure they'll both find ways to job... Rules: Normal singles match. DQ/Countout in effect Word Count: 4250 Send To: Suicide King US TITLE MATCH Danny Williams© vs. Mak Francis These two have been waiting to get a match together for a long time. Now, with Clusterfuck over and done with, Danny Williams and Mak Francis have their long-awaited showdown. Danny Williams has held the US Title for some time now, and has undoubtedly grown attached to the belt. But Mak Francis is looking for another taste of SWF gold, and his sights are firmly set on the belt. The Magnificent 7 member squares off against the man allied with the Midnight Carnival in another chapter of this storied feud. Who will leave glamorous Hartford with the US Title? Rules: Normal singles match. DQ/Countout in effect Word Count: 6000 Send To: Grand Slam MAIN EVENT NON-TITLE MATCH El Luchadore Magnifico© vs. Perfect Bo Tonight's main event pits the other two winners from Clusterfuck against each other. Perfect Bo defeated the HVille Thugg at Clusterfuck, brutally injuring Thugg in their I Quit Match. With Thugg seemingly out of the picture, Perfect Bo now turns his eyes toward capturing SWF gold. That gold is currently held by El Luchadore Magnifico, who defeated Tom Flesher in a Ladder/Submissions Match at Clusterfuck....by making Tom submit. WUZUPWITDAT? Anyways, these two men are riding high on their momentum. After tonight, one man will be riding even higher. (Hey, it's 2 AM, gimme a break on the horrible match descriptions). Will new SWF World Title challenger TNT make his presence felt? Find out in our main event! Rules: Normal singles match. DQ/Countout in effect Word Count: 5500 Send To: TheBostonStrangler ************* Now remember guys, PLEASE show up for this unless you have a real good excuse. No extensions. Now get writing.
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 Good card. A few matches seem a bit random, but we're coming off of Clusterfuck here, and there's not much to play off of. Good job, especially for the circumstances.
Guest Goodear Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 Six man tag team action! Time to channel the Freebirds vs. Von Erichs! Starring ... Judge Mental as Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy (the big mean one) Fugue as Buddy Roberts (the small mean one) Ejiro Fasaki as Michael PS Hayes (the small sucky one who never shuts up) Johnny Dangerous as Kerry Von Erich (the handsome one) Wildchild as Kevin Von Erich (the one with no shoes) and Longdogger Pete as Fritz (the old one... I don't know the rest of those Von Erich kids!) Of course you all realize I'm going to have to bust out the Iron Claw now right?
Guest El Luchadore Magnifico Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 Well, I thought it was a good analogy. Or something. Anyway, me vs. Bo=(Y)
Guest Ash Ketchum Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 *reads card, starts writing promos like craaaazy...*
Guest Perfect_Bo Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 Well...um...where's my title shot? Hmmm...well...hmm...I want a title shot. Um...why it gotta be non-title? Um...hmmm...Well I guess I'm going to go buck wild.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 Maybe it's non-title Bo becuase TNT won the Clusterfuck and is the number one contender. You can't just be leap frogging the number one contender. Flesher/Frost vs. Xero in a handicap match? What the fuck is that? I thought we were NOT going to be punished because we showed. And we certainly don't need 4000 words to job Xero. I agree with Ejiro, you should have made it a tag title match, lord knows we should defend the belts if we have them.

I agree with Ejiro, you should have made it a tag title match, lord knows we should defend the belts if we have them. I think that match was booked SOLELY so that you and Tom could do whatever you wanted storyline-wise, with your angle and shit, Frost. Still, I too would've prefered CIAZ~! to get a title shot, heh.
Guest TheBostonStrangler Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 Thank you, TNT. That was exactly my point. Tom and Frost need to do their thing, I believe Mak and CIA are the #1 contenders to the tag team titles, and Mak was previously booked for a match with Danny Williams for the US Title. Therefore, I couldn't give you your precious tag team match. Next time, please don't publicly insult my booking before finding out the reasoning behind it. If you understand the reasoning, and still think I'm full of shit, then go ahead and bitch about it. But I have a reason for doing what I do, as much as that may amaze you.

Wow, now that I know the reasoning. I really think that your booking sucks, TBS. - Taylor "Reverse Psycholigy... or Something!!" Thompson TBS edit: But I can ban you from chat, job you, and edit all your posts. Plus, if you say that again, you'll never get a chance to book in the JL. (Y) @ corrupted power.
Guest Perfect_Bo Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 Can you say...I was just playing...I knew about the card ever since TBS asked me if it was a good card.. Ok Bo
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 Can I just say...Bo...that you...use to many ellipses...? Ellipses = ... Ok TNT
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 Did I explicitly say it was bad booking? What I meant was, that it was just kind of odd booking. I fully realized that it was done just so I and Tom could do some storyline stuff, it's kind of blatantly obvious. And I've already pitched a couple interesting ideas at Tom for this that goes along those lines. I should have been more clearer in just being a little surprised at the booking and thinking that a tag title match would be more beneficial to the league overall since the bruhaha recently over what should be done with them. I should have been a little clearer on what I was thinking I guess.
Guest Longdogger_Pete Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 Oh, wait. I get it now. So it's like, the Magnificent Three, versus the Wild and Dangerous Doggahs... ...well, maybe not.
Guest Ace309 Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 I believe it's "Long, Wild and Dangerous."
Guest Tod deKindes Posted February 4, 2003 Report Posted February 4, 2003 *insert the obvious joke here*
Guest Suicide King Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 I feel that now is an appropriate time to direct everyone's attention toward my penis.
Guest Ace309 Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 Nobody wants to hear from your testicles, King.
Guest Suicide King Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 You must have me confused with G. My testicles cannot talk. My penis however does an uncanny Jay Leno impersonation.
Guest Ace309 Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 You're just saying that because the growth looks like a chin.
Guest Suicide King Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 No, I'm saying that because your mom sounds just like Jay when she goes downtown, lad.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 Forget it, Jake. It's only King's Penistown.
Guest Ace309 Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 Sounds like a bad Tim Burton movie.
Guest AnnieEclectic Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 *nails everyone's penises to the table* Yeah. -Annie
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 Annie, I still want to know if that guy is shooting a fireball out of his ass.
Guest CED Ordonez Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 You know, I never noticed that, but now that Edwin's brought it up, it answers alot of questions I've had about KoF's King...or not. BTW, KoF's King is actually female as any special move from Art of Fighting, KoF '94 or KoF '95 would tell you. *goes forward to greet everyone on campus with a hearty "PENIS~!"*
Guest Ace309 Posted February 6, 2003 Report Posted February 6, 2003 As long as you salute them when you do it, CED.
Guest Suicide King Posted February 7, 2003 Report Posted February 7, 2003 Heya kids. On a completely unrelated notes I updated my stats on the page. Got rid of some of them flashy moves since I'm not in the ring regularly anymore, and upped my charisma to pop those PPV buyrates. Gotta love it.
