Guest converge241 Report post Posted February 4, 2003 any word of a DVD release? I watch it religously (having run a comic book store , Im a long time fan of Johnnen's JTHM, Squee, Fillerbunny etc) but I need to own it to play constantly Id also like to add that GIR is the tops..the fn tops period. Guest razazteca Report post Posted February 4, 2003 if GIR the robot sidekick or the kid always trying to stop Zim? the show is ok, whenever I can find it, but with a heavy rotation of Sponge Bob, its hard to believe that Invader Zim is better. Sponge Bob = 3 DVDs Zim =
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted February 4, 2003 Is the show even on anymore? I can never find it on Nick lately.
Guest EQ Report post Posted February 5, 2003 What is this show about?
Guest razazteca Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Zim is a alien trying to take over the world and the hijinks that result. a weak Pinky and the Brain ripoff
Guest chirs3 Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Zim rules all. I hope there's a DVD release sometime soon.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Also, for anyone who cares, the voice of Zim is the dark brown beaver from "The Angry Beavers". Whatever happened to Angry Beavers anyways?
Guest KingOfOldSchool Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Is the show even on anymore? It is, just not on Nick. But there's a Nick spin-off channel out there that airs ZIM episodes on Friday and Saturday. If you have digital cable, or satellite, there's a good chance you have it. What is this show about? It's about an alien and his inept robot sidekick who come to earth to take it over. First they must inject themselves into society so that they can learn about the human race, which they do so by dressing up as a child and his dog. This brings in Dib, ZIM's classmate and antagonist, who seems to be the only one who's aware or cares about what's going on.
Guest converge241 Report post Posted February 5, 2003 I hate dib "Sponge Bob = 3 DVDs Zim = 0 " so mass popularity is a gauge for quality? That would seem to contradict your signature..
Guest razazteca Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Sponge Bob does indeed rule as it appeals to fans of cartoons of all ages and at $14.50 for 10 episodes its a bargin so go now to Wal-Mart to witness the greatness of Bob. Sean O'Haire wants you to indulge in Nicktoon greatness.......Embrace Sponge Bob
Guest T®ITEC Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Also, for anyone who cares, the voice of Zim is the dark brown beaver from "The Angry Beavers". Whatever happened to Angry Beavers anyways? They're still on "NickToons TV" (Nickelodeon's spin-off channel) all the time. I think that they stopped producing new episodes around 2000, but I don't know for sure.
