Guest Enziganny Report post Posted February 5, 2003 I think he's a good wrestler. He may lack promo charisma but he make it up in the ring. That SSP is one move that's off the fo sheezy scale.
Guest subliminal_animal Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Yeah, but the SSP is becoming a more and more common move, even though maybe not in the WWE. And he isn't good enough to make up for his non-wrestling talentlessness. No one is.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted February 5, 2003 His in ringwork doesn't make up for his out of the ring stuff.
Guest The Superstar Report post Posted February 5, 2003 And what's up with his music? It's not like he has any personality to go along with this "hip ©rap"
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Um. Billy Kidman? Lucky bastard.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted February 5, 2003 I enjoy his matches. And of course someone can be so good in the ring that they make up for there lack of out of the ring skills. See Benoit, Chris.
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted February 5, 2003 His wrestling is all well and good, but his charisma just isn't there.
Guest Enziganny Report post Posted February 5, 2003 And what's up with his music? It's not like he has any personality to go along with this "hip ©rap" Word, that type of music should be used for Booker T or somethin. Billy is the homie but he lookin outta place. All smilin and lookin whole some comin out to grimey rap music.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Booker T with rap? Nope just doesn't fit. Rap doesn't fit with anybody out of sucking so badly.
Guest Repo Man jr Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Speaking of hip hop, I saw a Mystikal video today (Danger) and realised that K Kwick was a total and utter rip off of him. Fo sneezy.
Guest Space_Cowboy Report post Posted February 5, 2003 He's decent in the ring, though not as good as he was in 1998, but he's got the personality of a potato out of the ring.

Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted February 5, 2003 No man you screwed it up. It's for sneezy. For sneezy my g-dawg homesteader! See thats how you speak dumbass. It's easy to pickup because I just learned it in the past 15 minutes.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Billy Kidman has always been the whitebread babyface and it doesn't work. They tried making him a cocky arrogant heel in the dying days of WCW but that Failed...not many people bomb an major hyped fued with Hogan...Kidman did. Kidman is bland in and out of the ring...He is blessed with a Large package that allows him to draw not flies but Torrie Wilson. That's about his only upside. Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted February 5, 2003 He'll wrestle a bitchin' match one week, a boring one the next, and all the time piss me off with his horrible mic skills and acting. He's okay. Not great, not terrible.
Guest Aero Report post Posted February 5, 2003 I've never hated Kidman. He only needs that charisma, and doing impressions of Dawn Marie and Al Wilson isn't helping. I can't wait for Tough Enough's John to make his full debut in the ring. It'll look pretty bad for Kidman when John shows him up by doing a SSP from only the mat. Guest raptor Report post Posted February 5, 2003 I like Kidman, but the comparison to Benoit is a little lacking. Kidman has zero charisma (except for a little bit of underdog), while Benoit does have an in ring charisma that creates a bankable character outside of the ring. Guest The Mighty Damaramu Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Kidman's is more impressive than John's. I mean not only is he doing it off of an unstable surface but he ways so much more than John that it's harder for him to flip like that.
Guest Space_Cowboy Report post Posted February 5, 2003 not many people bomb an major hyped fued with Hogan...Kidman did. It didn't help that Hogan made Kidman look like a total bitch at every turn during that feud, beating him easily two straight PPV's even with tons of interference against Hogan. At no point was Kidman ever really made to look like a threat, Hogan was on top of him practically every show aside from the first one or two during the feud. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted February 5, 2003 I never did like Kidman. He's overrated in the ring and he makes Test look charismatic. He's not horrible in the ring just overrated, but his total lack of charisma negates any wrestling talent he has. Kidman should be a cruiser division JOBBER not the friggin champ. It's a joke that he's the champion while Jamie Knoble a much better package is on Velocity. I have no problem with him being employed but he shouldn't be at the level that he's currently at. Storm and Regal should be on their backs for the likes of Booker and Goldust, not beating them and every other team that's not JR and King.
Guest papacita Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Kidman doesn't really have any charisma, but I can remember a couple of his matches where the crowd was dead at the start, but were solidly behind him by the finish. I think that he could play a good underdog face.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Kidman needs either a manager or tag parter so that he never has to speak. On his own he doesn't deserve a title reign or push.
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Kidman is unbearably dull and frankly, for the most part I hate when wrestlers are hyped because of one move, like Kidman and the SSP or Cross and the SS Legdrop. The only time the crowd reacts is when he does the SSP or is facing an over heel like Matt Hardy.
Guest Michael Joel Benoit Report post Posted February 5, 2003 Kidman was over 100 times more in WCW. I rememeber the crowd cheering the night he won the Cruiserweight Title for the first time on the September 14, 1998 episode of WCW Monday Nitro. He was an over face and his matches with and against Rey Misterio Jr. entertained the crowds all over the country. The Misterio/Kidman tag team was over and they had some great matches including the Triple Threat match with Eddie Guerrero at Starrcade 98. I think he was just better back in 1998 than he is now. Well in WCW there was (for the most part) more of an emphasis on wrestling as opposed to characters, which is why it was a little easier for him to get over as opposed to the WWF/E.
