Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted February 9, 2003 Brock ramming his shoulder into people's ribs while they're in the corner never excited me much.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted February 9, 2003 No, he's not at all exciting to watch. BROCK SMASH, quite frankly, bores the hell out of me. But he is apparently better at Houseshows.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 9, 2003 Brock kinda reminds me of Late 80's Haku in the sense they weren't exciting on tv but tore it down in Houseshows. Yes, Angle/Brock should obvisously bust out of The F5/Angle Slam twice...Do i believe that the SSP is absolutly neccesary? No, but I won't object to Brock using it as the last resort finish. How should it be set up? Easy. Angle locks the Sleeper on Brock at about 29 minutes...Brock stumbles but rams angle into the turnbuckle...and sits Angle on top and hits an Top rope superplex. Angle kicks out barely at the 2.9 count. Brock stands and groans with his head on the ropes and takes a quick look at the ropes...and looks at an prone Angle...He picks up Angle...Angle throws a few elbows...Brock whips him to the ropes... Brock Ducks...Angle leapfrogs him and goes for an clothesline but Brock catches him and hoists him on the Ropes again and hits Top Rope modified F5 to an Huge pop. Brock goes for the pin but Angle gets his foot on the ropes. Brock is geting frustrated. Angle pulls himself up and they do an other quick lockup and once again Brock whips angle...Angle ducks the clothesline...Angleslams Brock for a two count...Angle stomps brock a little more and scales the ropes for the moonsault. Brock crotches him...steps onto the apron and shoves angle off the ropes...Brock starts climbing as the annoucers are perplexed by Brock's actions...Brock takes a deep breath and hits the the SSP to MONSTER POP...Brock lifts the leg and it's One, two and three. Guest The Hamburglar Report post Posted February 9, 2003 Angle should definitely kick out of at least one F-5, but I want to see him reverse it loads of times into pinning positions, the Angle Slam or the Anklelock. That would ooze funk.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted February 9, 2003 Brock TRASH-TALKS~! I was laughing my ass off, when he was screaming "C'mon Esse!" or "C'mon Holmes!" at Eddy Guerrero. Trash Talk at Angle = ****
Guest red_file Report post Posted February 9, 2003 I still think it will be even more amazing if Angle can kick out of Brock's biggest move, but either way is fine. Wouldn't that make more sense for a rematch title change? Angle kicking out of the move that previously put him away. Seems a better build than having him kick out of the move out of nowhere, and it would make for an amazing near fall in the rematch. On the other hand, a "top this" type of build eventually hits a wall, so either way, I suppose. Though I do agree, Brock being allowed to do a SSP goes against the logic of what management seems to want from their heavies.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted February 9, 2003 The only reason Brock should do the SSP is if Angle beats him with a Moonsault (not necessarily at WM).
