The Dames 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2003 Last year, after Fellowship was pretty much done at the box office, they included a preview for the Two Towers. Do any of you guys know when they'll have a preview for ROTK in Two Towers? Dames
Guest Mik at Cornell Report post Posted February 7, 2003 Probably not for awhile yet as Two Towers is still racking up the bucks, it just passed Fellowship and is closing in on the Lion King and Forrest Gump.
Guest DrTom Report post Posted February 7, 2003 BTW, you can download The Two Towers on DVD -- the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences preview copy -- from newsgroups, burn it to a DVD+RW and watch it in your DVD player. A friend of mine did that and hooked me up with a copy (I'd already seen it twice in the theatres). As long as you don't mind the very occasional "For your consideration" text that pops up at the bottom of the screen, it's excellent.

Guest MDH257 Report post Posted February 7, 2003 Last year they added the Two Towers footage to the end of the movie in late March. So if the do it again I imagine that's when it'll happen.

Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted February 8, 2003 APO- Rumour has it that the two-disc edition of TTT will come out around July or August, but the four-disc collectors edition will be in November, same as FOTR last year.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted February 8, 2003 Well, at least it won't be as long a wait as I thought it would be. I might as well just wait for the 4-disc set instead of blowing the cash on the 2-disc.

Guest EQ Report post Posted February 11, 2003 That's what I thought you meant, but seeing as how me and Prag aren't the best of friends right now, you might have to wait.
Guest teke184 Report post Posted February 11, 2003 You should try on Donnie Darko. I just watched that and my brain is O-fficially fried. I'll second CJ... Donnie Darko is the bomb.
Guest EQ Report post Posted February 11, 2003 You know, it's funny. My friend was telling me how awesome Donnie Darko was the other day. How is it that I've never heard of this? I downloaded it today, but haven't watched it yet.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted February 11, 2003 Well Donnie Darko wasn't exactly a heavily hyped movie. I had never heard of it until someone suggested it to me a few months ago. I went from never hearing of it to it being one of my favorite movies.
