After seeing Brother Love last night, that reminded me of what scared me in wrestling. The only things that have scared me are Borther Love, and the Ultimate Warrior.

When I was eight and I saw Kamala get locked in a casket by The Undertaker. I thought Kamala really got locked up and taken to back to the mortuary or wherever Taker took his victims.

Oh, another one, Taker was one scary dude back then. Those were the days.

There was a time on the old WWE Saturday show, Papa Shango appeared, turned the lights out, then proceeded to make the Ultimate Warrior puke. They took him to the back, and he was puking on the stretcher. Freaky shit for a youngster such as myself.

I marked out SICK for the Savage/Snake incident. Of course, this is partly because I'm terrified of snakes.

Since I didn't start watching wrestling until 1994 not much has scared me.

 

But before I started watching I caught a glimpse of Papa Shango making some guy's feet catch on fire when my Mom was flipping through the channels and thought it was freaky.

 

After I started watching some things have made me uneasy. Like the sacrifice of Mideon and the attempted embalming of Austin.

angry emotions instead of sadness - when vince made jr kiss his ass - I was marking out so badly for austin to make the save...I marked out huge when austin killed the entire WCW locker room - even tho i know better now as a "smart" that he burried the entire angle with that one moment.

On a Saturday Night Main Event, I think it was Sika who before a match with Jake Roberts cut a promo with Mr. Fuji saying that he was gonna eat Jake's snake Damien. I think he even had a long loaf of bread in preparation. I was scared to watch that match in fear of Damien getting eaten.

Scariest moment without a doubt - the Undertaker's ascension at Rumble 94. With the lightning and lights and fog and the freaky promo on the big screen... *shivers*

 

The runner-up is any promo by Nailz where he started foaming at the mouth. "BOSSMAN ... YOU'RE GONNA SERVE HARD TIME, BOSSMAN!"

When Undertaker was building the casket in '94 for his match against Yokozuna at Survivor Series '94. Those things had about every eerie element in them, howling wind, graveyard surrounding, and Paul Bearer laughing. Undertaker's entrance video with the graveyard from '94 was also freaky. Undertaker was an all around scary character back in the day.

I like many of you was scared out of my mind by taker. Back when with the 2 different undertakers angle and they had the different "sightings" of the undertaker all over the country, I thought he'd pop up in a dark room in the basement. I've said it before that shit was scary.

I was always scared for the 2 jobbers who would have to fight Yokozuna in those handicap matches he'd have on Superstars when he first debuted.

 

I was afraid he was going to kill them.

Kill them? I was afraid he was going to eat them. I remember thinking one week, he had to work 3 guys, that the 3 guys would be able to take him. I went to get some juice, and came back and the match was over with Yoko sitting on all three guys. Trauma I tells ya.
