Dumbest things said about the sci-fi fantasy

Okay, I was listening to this sports show in New York the day after the Super Bowl and this guy (who hates Ben Affleck anyway but thats besides the point) was talking about the Budweiser ad that had the guy walk into a bar with a dog on his head (bar was no pets allowed and his pooch resembled a combo Afro/Jamacian dreadlocks look) and then he says "Then there was the ad with Ben Affleck with a dog on his head" now I don't know if he was referring to Matt Murdoch's style or DareDevil's horny mask (if it was off of the Murdoch scene in the ad its probably one of his points that Affleck has a toupee) but it sounded like someone who would take one look at a sci-fi character/movie/book, whatever and go "Are you kidding me with this shit?"

 

Other obvious examples are getting the "Stars" mixed up, and saying Dr. Spock instead of Mr. Spock (at least you can come back with "Dr. Spock is REAL!" and not be laughed at)

Do you get offended if someone says something you think is stupid in sci-fi terms or do just laugh.
