Both were heels, and DDP never really meant anything in WCW until Austin was pretty much on his way out from what I can remember.

While does my heart not ache for Bischoff in regards to the Austin situation.

They kinda had a pseudo feud in July of 2001 leading up to InVasion where DDP "abducted" Debra on the SD before InVasion (I was there in Boston). It kinda was pointless when Austin came over to WCW at InVasion...and they haven't had a singles match in the WWE, to my knowledge. Don't think in WCW, either.
