That is ridiculous. God damn I am glad to have not lived back in those days.

That appearance by Blassie on the Dick Van Dyke Show looks like it was classic stuff. That made the whole segment.

Good opening segment....I'm assuming we get another part later in the show.

Well...it is nice to see people actually caring about Bob Holly. Better than apathy anyway.

So Confidential is where Austin returns? Not Raw or at No Way Out?

i want to know since when bringing austin to RAW is turning it completely around... which is what bischoff was to do... not bring austin back to RAW... ahhh this makes no sense

I always find it weird looking at WCW Austin as opposed to WWF Austin. They seem like two completely different people.

That was a great segment, I just wish they showed Austin talking about. Ah well.

Sudden thought: who thinks DDP and Austin should have feuded? Or did they already...?

Nope. They never feuded. Both were heels, and DDP never really meant anything in WCW until Austin was pretty much on his way out from what I can remember.

Posted

Still..they could have feuded in WWF/E if Page hadn't retired. It would have a battle of the audience hand signals! Plus both were good on the mic, and their finishers were very similar.

....Wow. That's the most I've talked about Austin since...never

So Austin gets broken up from Pillman, a potentially all-time great tag team, with promises of singles pushes that never occur and when Hogan signs finds himself jobbing to Jim Duggan in his last PPV match. While does my heart not ache for Bischoff in regards to the Austin situation.

They kinda had a pseudo feud in July of 2001 leading up to InVasion where DDP "abducted" Debra on the SD before InVasion (I was there in Boston). It kinda was pointless when Austin came over to WCW at InVasion...and they haven't had a singles match in the WWE, to my knowledge.

Don't think in WCW, either.
