"Raw" House Show

Why were they wrestling on the 2/9 Raw show when they are supposed to be on Smackdown? And since they are apparently trying to turn Eddy and Chavo face, why have him wrestle the very over face in Rey Jr.? That's WWE logic for ya.

Did you bother to see where the show was held? San Diego.

And Havoc 97 is one of WCW's last great PPVs for one very good reason - Rey vs. Eddie.

They were merely trying to put on a good show by showcasing the hometown boy. It's nothing new to bring a few guys over to another brand's house show. Brock whipped Team Angle's ass about a week ago at MSG during a Raw show.

Raw results from San Diego:

Booker T b Christian - okay match

Rico b Tommy Dreamer - no heat, not that good

Victoria kept womens title in three-way over Molly Holly and Jacqueline - Decent match with no heat

Spike Dudley b Steven Richards - see above

Sean O'Haire b D-Lo Brown - Fans didn't know O'Haire. Fans chanted boring when Brown was working hte arm

Storm & Regal b Dudleys - most heat on the show, same match as they've been donig

RVD & Kane b 3 Minute Warning - below average

Chris jericho b Test - Christian distracted ref and Jericho used a low blow and roll-up. Finish was good

Rey Mysterio b Eddy Guerrero - ***1/2

Scott Steiner b Batista - Flair and HHH came out and both were cheered. Boring match with no heat. Mysterio made the save for Steiner, who won with a messed up looking power bomb

I like the fact that the WWE is doing nice things like that when they can. Having Eddie and Rey do a match in San Diego was a pretty awesome thing for the WWE to do no matter how much you want to say it is a bad thing.
