Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2003 From lop.net: Stevie Richards vs. Javier Gonzales ( I think that was his name) Javier looked pretty good with a couple of spiffy moves. Javier trying to play up to the majory latino audiences of LA. Richards takes over with a few moves, finishes it with the StevieT! Funny how his girlfriend's finisher is so much better than his. Richards mugs for the camera a little, and thats that. If that airs, then we'll see Stevie.....twice!
Guest The Superstar Report post Posted February 11, 2003 WTF did Nowinski do to go from winning on RAW to jobbing on Heat?
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted February 11, 2003 Let's hope it doesn't air twice, because I'm really starting to fucking hate Steven Richards for no particular reason. I wonder what it could be.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2003 WTF did Nowinski do to go from winning on RAW to jobbing on Heat? Well Nowinski was mentioned a few times in the magazines as being associated with HHH. And no newbie can be associated with such a SUPSTAR~! as him, now can they? Oh..wait. Orton and Batista's with him. Well, fuck, there goes the HHHater argument. His character is good and I wish they'd use it more. Although he does need to get a bit more training when it comes to in-ring skills.

Well, yeah, but somebody like Orton, who's ring skills are also mediocre, will be on RAW every week through Main Event Angle Association and Nowinski will be stuck on Heat, even though he's better than Orton. Guest Violent Mahatma Report post Posted February 11, 2003 Well, yeah, but somebody like Orton, who's ring skills are also mediocre, will be on RAW every week through Main Event Angle Association ™ and Nowinski will be stuck on Heat, even though he's better than Orton. How the hell is Nowinski better than Orton? Two things strike me about Nowinski: he's got natural charisma and a problem pulling off wrestling moves (which leads to a problem actually WRESTLING). I think it's because his musculature is so small...I mean, Christ, he usually looks like he can barely pull off the Honor Roll if he tries it on someone other than Maven. Randy, on the other hand, has around the same charisma level (maybe slightly less, I could see how you could make that argument), AND he's way better in the ring. Granted, we haven't seen much of him lately, but I remember seeing him fight 'Taker and Lesnar on SD! and he didn't look half bad. He bumped quite well, and what offense he did get in was pretty good (especially that weird headlock takedown/neckbreaker thing, didn't that used to be Mike Sanders' finisher?). Perhaps there is a valid argument to my mindset, I don't know, but it seems like everyone detests Randy all of the sudden because of his association with HHH. Sorry, but that's not enough for me to condemn someone with actual skills, as well as praise someone who gets on TV because he NEARLY won a fucking contest. You bring up good points, and I AM a Randy Orton fan, I just think that if one is stuck on Heat, the other shouldn't be far behind. They're both still very green.
