Guest JMTapes Report post Posted February 11, 2003 Seriously. I've been using '98 for years and I recently got a new Dell that obviously has XP on it. Simple little things that would have been an afterthought with '98, XP goes the extra mile to stick up your ass. For example, when I save a picture, then try to view it later, Internet Explorer won't open it. Then, if I try uploading it to GeoCities, it won't upload. WHAT THE FUCK? Can anyone help? Thanks-Jim www.jmtapes.com
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2003 I've never had a problem with XP. Sort of sounds like that might be something else causing that problem.

Thanks-Jim www.jmtapes.com XP has its own image viewer, but it should open when you double-click it anyway. At any rate, you should probably use ACDSee for all your image viewing. What happens when you try uploading to Geocities?
The Dames 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2003 ACDSee is THE picture viewer of all picture viewers. If you can find a crack for it, by all means, get it. Dames
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted February 13, 2003 Im willing to bet that when you save the picture, it isn't saving in a jpg/gif/bmp format. That would explain both problems.
