This audio is from the Satellite feed of either RAW or Smackdown from late-2001. "Satellite" in that it is the stream that is broadcast live back to Connecticut during every TV Taping, live or not. You're not supposed to be hearing this, but if your satellite dish can intercept it, you're in luck.

 

Today's clip has Lawler and Cole acting like spaz's for 3 minutes.

I'm not totally convinced it's them. At times I can't tell who is who and Cole sounds different and so does Lawler.

There's no doubt that it is the two. Both Cole and Lawler use a "stage voice" on Raw and Smackdown. It is basically an exaggerated version of ther actual voice, refined to come off better on television. The reason why we've never heard the actual voice of Michael Cole, because he's always in shill mode...

 

For instance, Stephanie McMahon employs a stage voice (squealing and whining, compared to the voice she uses in her GM role and in real life)...

It's definetly real. I recognize Lawler's normal voice from the Confidential segments of him. And Cole? Well, I definetly know Cole's voice

It's real. You can hear actual happenings in the background like video packages playing and they sound just like they do in the arena.....echoing and such.

the satellite thing is basically exactly how I get smackdown right now. I can get the RAW feed on occasion as well but I stopped worrying about it.
