What'd I tell you? This Doggah isn't quite as washed up as you all thought he was.

I'd like to take a moment to discuss the Magnificent Seven. Well, not all of them, but the three members of the Magnificent Seven that I had the opportunity to face on Storm.

Let's start with Fugue, the wacked out musician type, newly promoted from the SJL. Well, I'm not sure who had the bright idea to bump him up to the main roster. He sure didn't do much on Storm -- where I scored the Longdogger Clogger, and pinned him in the center of the ring.

Then there's Judge Mental. Now, you "smart fans" say I shouldn't be wrestling at my age? This guy is how much older than me? Ten years? Judge, your glory years were long ago. It's about time you retired. In fact, I can see it now. Judge Mental, locked up tight at Shady Acres, staring in front of the TV all day watching old Judge Wapner reruns and yelling "I OBJECT!"

And that brings us to Ejiro Fasaki. Ejiro, as someone who admires and stays on the lookout for new talent, I'll admit I've had my eye on you as you've worked your way through the SJL. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I've seen Internet reports refer to you as an "innovative rookie mat worker with a lot of potential." While I'll agree with you on the rookie part -- you're either really green or really stupid challenging me to a singles match for Smarkdown -- there's one part of that report I would object to. "Innovative?" Giving the SJL European title a goofy name does not constitute "innovative." Beating your own partner for the SJL World title does not make you innovative either. You want to hear innovative? X Force 9 in the SWF was innovative. Miami Mayhem? That was innovative. Three European titles, a Hardcore title, two Stables titles, and four World titles across two promotions? That's... well... that's just more gold than you'll ever see in your career.

So it comes to this, Ejiro. This week on Smarkdown, I'm going to show you what it means to be a champion in this bid'ness, when I "innovatively" kick your damn ass! And if your Magnificent Seven friends should show up, they may learn a thing or two. You see, if there is to be a battle here, then I will be firing the first salvo. So you had better be prepared... for War...

Good stuff, Pete. Hard-selling the hate for the Seven and paying special attention to Ejiro, which is all good in my book.
