Yuna_Firerose Posted February 14, 2003 Report Posted February 14, 2003 But after the boot camp, you notice they are all 'oh I'm so sorry, please forgive me, I'll be good from now on!' *sob sob sob* Riiiiiiiight
Guest Youth N Asia Posted February 14, 2003 Report Posted February 14, 2003 I couldn't be scared of a drill instructor who couldn't curse or lay a finger on me. And I'm sure those bastard kids feel the same way and put up with the little amount of humiliation just to get it done and over with.
Yuna_Firerose Posted February 14, 2003 Report Posted February 14, 2003 Yes, but you gotta wonder just what the drill instructor does to them. In most of these shows, they have like fifteen minutes to summarize a whole 'vist' with the instructor.
Guest Mattdotcom Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 Maury also runs show called "Man or Woman?" Basically, transvestites and real women model lingerie and bikinis while loud music plays and Maury continually asks the audience "IS IT A MAN OR WOMAN?!"
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 Speaking of South Park talk show spoofs -- anyone remember "Jesus and Pals turns Springer" a few years back?...
Guest razazteca Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 I missed that one, was that the Super Friends episode? or was "Jesus and Pals turns Springer" the working title of the show?
Guest RevEvil Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 Anyone remember Nightstand with Dick Dietrich? Great show.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 "I missed that one, was that the Super Friends episode? or was "Jesus and Pals turns Springer" the working title of the show?" No, but I liked that one too. Basically, if memory servers correct, one of the plots was getting Jesus' "Jesus and Pals" show higher ratings, so in the end it resembled a Jerry Springer show. It was great watching his audience chant, "Je-Sus, Je-Sus..."
Guest El Satanico Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 Yeah I remember that episode. That was a good one. Of course me saying a South Park episode was good means nothing since i find something to like about every episode. I can't even think of an episode I didn't like.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 To me there are three kinds of SP episodes. Good, Great, Gold. Examples: Good -- that stem-cell one. I didn't care for it, but it was still better than most of the sit-comish type stuff I have seen in years. Great -- Jesus and his Super Best Friends. Gold -- Rainforest, Povich, Butters Special, Dodge Ball; the list goes on. I also have to add that everytime I see or hear about Iraq and the weapons inspections, I can't help but picture Saddam saying "Relax..."
Guest hardyz1 Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 Anyone remember Nightstand with Dick Dietrich? Great show. Wow, I do remember that. Can't remember anything specific about it, though. I think there might have been one episode where this chick was fired for being lazy at work, and she sued because it was a medical condition, or something.
Guest razazteca Posted February 15, 2003 Report Posted February 15, 2003 Nightstand with Dick Dietrich was ahead of its time with its format.
