Guest The Metal Maniac Report post Posted February 15, 2003 You heard me. We bought a 38-inch pizza today. 34 bucks, Canadian. The box they put it in was actually 4 large pizza boxes stapled together. We had to tilt it sideways to get it through doors. And it just BARELY fit flat on the floor of the trunk. AND WE WERE DRIVING A STATION WAGON. So yeah...it was pretty fucking big.
Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted February 15, 2003 Should've taken a picture of that bad boy. Where in the world of Canada do you find a commercially sold 38" pizza?
Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted February 15, 2003 Right near the 42" subs and the 1 mile long burrito.
Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted February 15, 2003 Hah...I'm guessing that bad boy filled the whole oven. Was it good though??
Guest The Metal Maniac Report post Posted February 15, 2003 It was a pretty damned good pizza. And yes, we took pictures. And you find them on North, in Halifax *Dramatic pause* Nova Scotia, Canada. And I say "them" because there's literally two oversized pizza shops right next to each other. They both sell slices so fucking big that you can fold the damned things in half and they're still bigger then most any slice in town. However, only one actually offers a 38" pizza on the main menu, but the other will make a pizza large enough to fit any box you feel like bringing in. Course, this IS the same town where you can get 5-pound donairs, so hey...

Guest razazteca Report post Posted February 15, 2003 Coney's are hotdogs, I think Ever been to one of those Burrito shops that serve it like Subway? You get to pick and choose you fillings! Ozzy Osbourne is a big fan of it, as on one of the MTV episodes he went to the burrito shop every day! 34 Canadian? so is that $19 USD?
Guest The Metal Maniac Report post Posted February 15, 2003 Actually, Nova Scotia DOES have the highest obesity rate in Canada. As soon as I can get the pics on line, it will be so. (I don't have a scanner)
Guest Gathering Moss Report post Posted February 15, 2003 Years ago, Pizza Hut made giant pizza called "Big Foot" or something. Anyone know how big it was?
Guest razazteca Report post Posted February 15, 2003 I think it was a 6 foot long sqaure slice pizza. But Lil Ceaser was better at square pizza.
Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted February 15, 2003 Coneys are basically chili hot dogs. Chilli, mustard and onions on a hot dog (kind with the crisp casing). It's like a million coney islands in Detroit.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 15, 2003 Fuck Coney Island...Skyline Chili OWNS The Hot Dog Industry... GREATEST CHILI and GREATEST HOT DOG in the whole fucking world... I give a good Pop to The Root Beer Stand in Sharonville, Ohio.
Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted February 16, 2003 Bah thats only one place though. It's tons of different owners and recipes here. They use a specialize breeding technique here to breed the Mighty HotDog animal and the Chili crops. Everyone has their own style to it. Which in the long run makes us fat as hell.

Guest thetrendsetter Report post Posted February 25, 2003 I can attest to the almighty power of rassys and the pizza factory... It was an extremely windy day when me and metal maniac picked the pizza up, we had to cover it, and carry it across a city block to the car... the wind got under it once, I thought it was gone... you can see pizza slices from rassys at rassy.com We'll get the pictures ASAP
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted February 25, 2003 Skyline is so overrated and their chili is awful. Maybe the original location is good, but the chain Skylines suck. I doubt even the original locations are any better as I've had it in Cincinnati and still hated it.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 25, 2003 O.K fine...what about The Root Beer Stand? Gotta love that right?
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted February 25, 2003 I actually can't remember why I don't like Skyline's chile. I think it's because it's "sweet" tasting and I hate sweet tasting chile. Never been to The Root Beer Stand actually I barely even know of the place. But...um...I've been to Tony Pacos
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 25, 2003 It's in Sharonville...It's an Cincinnati Staple...
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted February 26, 2003 Ledo Pizza makes awesome Square Pizzas. We are fortunate enough to have one around here, but they are huge up around the baltimore area. And, for the record, I'd rather have a deep dish pizza than a really big pizza. Deep Dish=more toppings (meat, cheese, sauce).
