Guest razazteca Report post Posted February 15, 2003 The last fews weeks all I see is repeat shows, even on Sunday! So I ask of the Lucha Libre fans with satillite or tape deals, I ask you has anything not worthy happened yet? I heard that Rey Bucannero lost his hair but have yet to see him bald on tv, where has he been lately, Japan, Wrestle-1 show? I am getting withdrawl here WTF happened to the 1000% Guapos University angle, that went on for weeks?

EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2003 Today, I saw a 6-man with Buccanero, Ultimo, and some other guy against Shocker, Vampiro, and another guy...that's all I can add to that...
Guest razazteca Report post Posted February 16, 2003 Well they seem to work well together with Ultimo Dragon the last time he was in CMLL, I wish Toryumon would send some talent to Arena Mexico for televised matches. Today, I saw a 6-man with Buccanero, Ultimo, and some other guy against Shocker, Vampiro, and another guy...that's all I can add to that... it was good but it was a repeat, Hijo de Lizmark was teaming with Shocker and Vampiro. It seems like Galavision has gone back to repeating the same show over and over again that is ok for the Saturday show but Sunday is suppose to me recent. Guest Joe_G Report post Posted February 16, 2003 As for why lucha's in repeats, it's a complex story, but basically Televisa, a network in Mexico, pays for CMLL's production. CMLL's ratings and ad revenue are down, so Televisa wants CMLL to pay their own way. Another network called Multivision stepped in and started taping the shows, so apparently they have a deal with Televisa. But Televisa isn't delivering the new shows to Galavision (maybe as part of its deal with Multivision?). Bottom line: things don't look good. Life does go on in Mexico, as Shocker is going to have another shot at Ultimo Guerrero's CMLL Light Heavyweight Title match in a match we could but won't likely see. Zumbido and Ricky Marvin are going to have a hair vs. hair match soon as well. As for the Guapo tournament, who knows? At this point it's slightly more confusing than the old team challenge series. I imagine Ultimo and Bucky worked a Toryumon tour because they're awesome. They also stole the show at the Second Wrestle-1 show in a tag match against Ultimo Dragon and Kaz Hayashi. Plus they're working an April tour of New Japan, including the 5/2 dome show.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted February 16, 2003 Noooooooooooooo don't tell me that my favorite Zumbido is in a hair match! They can't shave that mahawk/mullet hair! 1st they take Verano than Bucky, and now Zumbidouski??? WHY! So no Lucha Libre again? Well I hope that this Multivision will get a deal on one of my cable tv stations. Well on a good note I saw a cool Black&White movie that featured Hurrican Rameriez as the main star called Juan Sin Miedo last night. And it was not about fighting werewolfs or aliens it was a movie about the Luchadore, his apprientance, and the #1 fan girl that follows them around.

Guest j.o.b. squad Report post Posted February 16, 2003 the results i read on another board said that after their match shocker chalanged ultimo to a hair vs mask match
Guest razazteca Report post Posted February 16, 2003 I can't believe this everybody with hair is going bald! Ulitmo Guerrero vs Shocker in a mask vs hair match has no real winner! They both need those gimmicks. But at hair can grow back. I have a solution for Galavision, Stop showing Rayo de Jalisco matches on cable tv, this personity does not translate well outside of Mexico City. The Hoss~ are killing the ratings
EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2003 Just watched a FANTABULOSO match between Los Guerreros de Infiernos and Shocker/Mascara Magica/Satanico. FUCKING SWEET. I think it's a repeat, too, but BOY did Shocker hit a sick tope on Ultimo. Magica wins it for the tecnicos with the modified Quebradora and I weep tears for lucha libre once again because it was a damn fine match.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted February 16, 2003 It was indeed a good match, and Satanico went flying to the OUTSIDE, you rarely see that happen. It seemed like everybody did a outside bump in that match.
Guest Brian Report post Posted February 16, 2003 Anything right now involving the Los Guerreros is pretty much MOTYC.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted February 17, 2003 they need to tour in WWE just for one PPV so I can mark out for Rey Bucannero, Ultimo Guerrero, Eddy, Chavo, Mysterio Jr in a Cibernetecho match against Team Angle & 3 Count.

Guest Raven_Effect01 Report post Posted February 17, 2003 Why is it that every Sunday on CMLL, every match is a six-man tag?
Guest ConspiracyVictim Report post Posted February 17, 2003 I advise everyone now to go over to Alfredo and stock up on his classic Lucha, IWRG, and Monterrey tapes because I know you all want good stuff. I have alot of those tapes and if you want I can recommend stuff. Also that 6 man match was fun. I like Satanico more as a Rudo (on of the best) but he was great in that match. I was surprised by that tope he pulled off. GDI in the WWE would be insane...
Guest razazteca Report post Posted February 17, 2003 6 man tag is the traditional Lucha Libre match, I think. Cibernetecho is a Survivor Series elimation type tag match that can go as high as 6 or more on a team, this is my favorite type of match in Lucha Libre. Just think Calgary Stampede tag match with high spots and awesome submissions and finishers.
EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted February 17, 2003 Of course, the most famous cibernetico of all time took place in 1997, a SIXTEEN-MAN TAG. You think the 10/10/96 MPro 10-man was something...you ain't seen NOTHING yet...
Guest razazteca Report post Posted February 17, 2003 I seen about 3 cibernetico matches and they go can go about 30 minutes showcasing the best in the business. Everybody brings their A Game for this match, and they will bust out finishers that have not been used often as Damian 666 did that neck2neck top rope breaker move in one of them last year.
