Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted February 16, 2003 Good, but I'd toss Quance and Briscoe #2 for Sonjay Dutt and Jimmy Rave.
Guest AllCanadian Report post Posted February 16, 2003 Quance needs a national tournament like Super 8 to break out. He just doesn't get the exposure he needs wrestling in the a garage twice a month. IMO he was probaly the rookie of the year in California for 2002. Apparantly he's training in the NJPW dojo so I think he's ready for big things(like London) in 2003. Guest Phoenix Fury Legdrop Report post Posted February 16, 2003 First Round: London/Red (London goes over established ECWA guy, gets over with their regular marks) Ace Steel/CM Punk (Punk goes over trainer to get crowd familiar with him) Quiet Storm/Super Dragon (Dragon goes over) Jason Cross/Slim J (Cross goes over, but both get over due to awesome performance) Semis London/Punk (London over Punk, Punk acts all heelish after the match to show foresight to the future) Cross/Dragon (Cross over Dragon) Finals: London over Cross, but after-match goes against Super 8 tradition and ends in an angle, with Punk jumping London

Chunk 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2003 Good, but I'd toss Quance and Briscoe #2 for Sonjay Dutt and Jimmy Rave. I agree. Make those changes, (or perhaps just get rid of briscoe #2 if you want to give Quance a chance - not that I dislike Marc) and that would make an awesome show. ChUnK! Tim That's the whole point of Super 8 to establish new stars(just ignore 2002 and Donovon Morgon, though it was a break out performance for AJ Styles)

Tim I could see Youth going over...he's a longtimer there and he's never won it. Plus let's face it, his better days are behind him and he's not getting any younger. Maybe a going away present. Quick recap of past winners: 1997: Ace Darling 1998: Lance Diamond 1999: Steve Bradley (filling in for the injured Youth) 2000: Chris Daniels 2001: Low Ki 2002: Donovan Morgan
