I am strong believer that Wrestlers who pass shouldn't have Tributes on Normal TV but Special pieces reflected on them ought to be shown on Confidential. It's not on this week because they already planned a Rerun and had nothing else to play with the Henning video... Besides...Unlike Bulldog...They might not have been able to get Family Images and interviews...I'd rather they wait a week then see an rushed 5 minute "We miss ya Curt" type of deal.

He wasn't a current wrestler, they paid their respects by acknowledgeing his passing... They didn't have a Video tonight because it was already an Re-Run...I'd rather it get more time and treatment then be rushed with old segments...and air it on a new show. It's not like they are going Gene: Curt Henning Died Monday, Let's make a Video for Confidential... Vince: BAH! He jumped Ship and Nearly killed my precious Brock and my son...er...in law! He gets no treatment! Gene: Please Vince? Vince: Well, Fine...But not until next week! They likely taped it this week and just won't air it until next Saturaday.

Then they would put on a good PR damage control move to stop from looking like rat bastards who didn't have the decency to stop the show out of respect. Then have the whole roster pretend that Hennig was their best friend, and of course, have Brock come out at the end and F5 Matt Hardy in his honor. Of course, in WWE language, this would all be a "moving tribute." Then months later they have Hogan feign a heart attack and the announcers sell it like said tribute.

The WWE SHOULD acknowledge his death, but it is kinda ridiculous to expect them to make a 5-minute tribute for a man that isn't even in the company. What next ? If Bastion Booger dies one day, does he deserve a 5-minute video tribute with the 10-bell salute ? I mean, he was employed and all, right ? In my opinion, you have to draw the line somewhere. They acknowledged him, put up his picture, paid their respects, and are giving hom a memorial segment on Confidential. That should be enough. You people act like Vince didn't friggin mention the guy at all.....

Because let me tell you, when I turned on the news that night, the first thing at the top of the hour was: Newscaster: Today, the British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith passed away and our condolensces go to the entire Smith family. But we know who's to blame for this. Vince McMahon. Fuck Vince McMahon, since he's responsible for all of this. Hey everybody, let's boycott this asshole ! Besides the bitching of smarks, the world wouldn't change whether there was a Bulldog bell-ringing or not. The news certainly wouldn't have covered it and, in the long run, the British Bulldog death did absolutely nothing to WWE PR. The WWE PR is not in danger every time a wrestler dies when the wrestler is not even in said company !!!

As far as I know, they've only used it once during the stinker Raw that was the fallout of the Owen disaster. Am I right, or does it go further back than that? Oh wait, they also did a 10 Bells for Big Show's deceased Fake Dad and the Bossman interrupted it to do heelish acts.
