Guest Some Guy Report post Posted February 20, 2003 My high school had about 15 in-town black kids and about 11 who were brought in for the "A Better Chance" program from poor innner-cities and such. We did have a lot of Orientals, which is to be expected considering I live in an upper-middle class town. Olympic Slam, I agree with you in full about multi-culturalism. Good idea in theory, but just like Maxism it doesn't work in the real world.
Guest Samurai_Goat Report post Posted February 20, 2003 When I said they got mad because someone called them Asian, I ment it. Not Chinese, not Japanese, Asian. Maybe we just have some bitchy Asians where I've been.
Guest Plushy Al Logan Report post Posted February 20, 2003 Just because I'm half Hispanic everyone assumes I speak Spanish, or need special accomodations. I actually refuse to learn Spanish, due to my beliefs that this country was founded on the English langusge, and by letting other languges in, we are losing our national identity. I'am also told I have to mark other on applications, because "mixed races do not exist!" I'm also white and fucking proud to be it. I'm not a racist, but I use my racial status to an advantage, I always say this to piss people off: "I may be a Mexican, but I'm not a wetback!" I also have an issue with my fellow Hispanics, why do they purposely act dumb, or refuse to look for work, every person on welfare I know is Mexican.
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted February 20, 2003 Mario, do you live in a Hispanic neighborhood? If so that might be why. There are plenty of blacks and whites on welfare as well.
