Guest The Man in Blak Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Hmmmph. Why in the world did they push the Shampoo match from the opener to so far up the card? And the IC frickin' title as the curtain jerker two years running? Sheesh.
Guest Repo Man jr Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 So far so good I think. The Hardcore stuff is really funny too!
Guest Tony149 Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Angle has new tights. It's the same design with the U.S. flag on the side, but now it's black instead of blue or red.
Guest Vyce Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 What do you guys watching it think? We have another "Wrestlemania 13" on our hands?
Guest Anglesault Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Angle has new tights. It's the same design with the U.S. flag on the side, but now it's black instead of blue or red. He's in mourning.
Guest Carbon Tiger Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 I think I'm glad I didn't order this years WM. This is sucking hard so far. The Main events will probally save it somewhat, but the show as a whole doesn't seem to be worth the money so far.
Guest Karnage Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Wrestlemania 13 did have Hart-Austin, vyce.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 More like Wrestlemania XI, which is Wrestlemania XIII without Bret/Austin.
Guest Vyce Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Wrestlemania 13 did have Hart-Austin, vyce I'm hoping that out of what's left on the card, something will either be that good (tough, I know) or approach that level. Still, one great match does not a PPV make.
Guest Tony149 Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Angle won! He won with his feet on the ropes. They seemed to blown the spot.
Guest goodhelmet Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 "Fuck you, helmet." LOL Hey, at least Angle won the match! Seriously, this was the best match so far thanks to Angle's superb talent. The only real low point was the weak finish. bUt we've seen this all before so ***
Guest Impaler Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Here comes Flair/Taker....anybody wanna place some bets on if Taker's streak stands tonight?
Guest Tony149 Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Flair vs. Taker is next. Lets see of Ric can drag out a good match from UT.
Guest Daredevil21 Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 I thought that the Angle/Kane match was a solid match, but did Angle have to go over cheaply like that? I would have liked to seen a clean Angle win. Good match otherwise and Angle finally got the crowd alive with that great promo and by the end of the match he was getting good responses from the people, simply because out of respect for carrying someone like Kane to a good match.
Guest teke184 Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 This seems to be either Wrestlemania 11 or 15 so far. (Both were crap, but 15 had a few *** matches)
Guest Tony149 Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 I could see Flair winning with help from Arn. Then again if I'm booker...I save UT's first WM loss to elevate a guy like RVD or Edge.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Come on Ric! Hurricane as Hardcore champion is just...random.
Guest goodhelmet Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 sidenote- the cop who arrested Flair from the SD! in San Antonio is a guy by the name of JT. He used to be a bouncer at some of the Tejano bars here while I was bartending. The guy is not the sharpest pencil in the box, if you get my drift. As for the Flair-Taker match, will Taker be a broomstick? Let's find out. Also, Angle was the first heel to win a match so far.
Guest goodhelmet Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 "He's in mourning. " LOL. No shit!!!!
Guest Impaler Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Another sidenote- Taker dyed his hair black. It looks like he stuck his head in a vat of crude oil.
Guest Tony149 Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Oddly enough, in Flair's only two WM appearances, he's worn red tights.
Guest Tony149 Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 I wonder how many chops Taker can take. I think he had an injury to his pecs back in '99.
Guest Impaler Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Actually, there hasn't been one single chop yet. Must be a conspiracy...
Guest Tony149 Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Flair is bleeding. He bladed after taking some right hands to the head.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Watch out for the crowds "meh" when David runs in.
Guest goodhelmet Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Taker sold Flair's punches for like 3 seconds. That might be a record. Anyways, this match sucks so far. one positive, after a botched attempt, Flair finally does a successful Flair flip for the first time in 4 years.
Guest Tony149 Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 I gotta give Flair credit. For a man his age, he still takes the Superplex from the top rope.
Guest Tony149 Posted March 18, 2002 Report Posted March 18, 2002 Arn Anderson did a Spinbuster on Taker, but UT kicked out. Maybe a reformation of the Horsemen is going to happen.
