OK, this September, they pulled the plug on unover face WWF champ Kurt Angle. Now, HHH is an unover face champ. Will they be fair and pull the plug on him? Or will this PROVE That HHH has clout?

They will definitely not pull the plug on HHH.

HHH is champ until at least Summerslam...sucking all the way.

So, there is a double standard. If you suck and you are NOT fucking the head booker, you get pulled. If you suck and you ARE fucking the head booker, you don't.

I think HHH more than proved how much political power he had tonight.

And I for one am disgusted.

HHH always says he loves the business.

Fucking liar.

Actually you don't have to suck to be pulled.  If you are good, you are a threat, and thus end up fighting Kane at the biggest show of the year.

#### no they won't pull the plug on HHH.

God, I don't wanna see another 6 months of boring HHH... I don't even care if he gets in a good feud with Austin or Angle.  This is just boring.  Fuck the WWF.  Hard.

No way would they pull the plug on HHH. HHH could be getting boo's from everybody, business falling lower, but they won't pull the plug.

Well... HHH/Jericho is over.  HHH/Angle is over.

And those are the only heels left.

So someone will turn.

It will be HHH...the ####### just wanted to win the belt as a face at Mania first.

Unfortunately, they've built HHH up too much to just rip it from him two months after the WM win.

Angle, on the other hand, was hot-shotted into a face role to latch onto any Sept. 11 that they could and then, once that ran out, they gracefully took him out before the press figured out what they were doing.  That, plus they found that, other than the American stuff, NOBODY wanted to cheer for Angle, which is kind of a big obstacle when you're building him as a face champion.

Maybe Rock should turn heel and beat HHH at Judgement Day, after the tag match with Hogan that he will probably have at Backlash.

HHH should be de-pushed until they can find a storyline involving him and someone other than Steph.

Who does HHH feud with now? I've heard Kurt Angle is the next guy to feud (again) with HHH. ####, maybe on Raw we'll see Steph vs. HHH.

Since Angle got the win over him at No Way Out, I'd bet Angle.  My second choice would probably be Austin.

Otherwise, I said it in another thread, but I'll throw it again - Rock'll probably turn on Hogan because of the Ambulance and because he doesn't "need Hogan."  He's already a successful hollywood poster boy, right?  Rock will probably be another option too.

he could pull an Al Snow and just start having matches against himself. Steph could be the special referee.

Ever since "DX" WWF has crammed HHH down our throats until he actually got a good reaction. If they did it then there's no reason to believe that they won't do it now.

by the way...this board allows fuck but not #### (h e l l). what's with that?

How?

I just can't figure out a potentially successful thing for HHH to do right now.  They are going to drag the divorce shit out over the spring and maybe the summer most likely and HHH will face Steph's lackey of the moment.  I can just see Steph and HHH in their hotel and HHH saying, "you know Steph, that RVD guy is too over right now, why don't you turn him heel and feed him top me at Backlash."

How?

Are you serious?

No one in the crowd wanted too see him win.  He "somehow" got to Main Event Mania, win the title, and end the show as chamo...all without having a decent match since his return.

I'll tell you what.

If Benoit wins the title 2 months after his return in the main event of a ppv...I will beleive that HHH has no power.

He won't be any less over than HHH is...and he can't be any worse.

If it was ANYBODY ELSE in the same position, they would not have gotten the belt.

Going into the event, HHH was probably the 4th or 5th babyface behind Austin, Rock, and RVD at the least.

In addition to that, his ringwork is a shadow of what it used to be, and that is NOTHING compared to what the average main-event match of each PPV has been since probably KOTR 2001.  (If you exclude Backlash and Judgment Day 2001, I'd go back as far as Survivor Series 2000 for the last bad main event match)

Yes.

Jericho wasn't over as champion, does that prove he was using his evil backstage stroke to win matches? You said HHH winning proves it, sounds like speculation to me.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21

yes.

HHH won the title as an unover face who can't wrestle at the biggest ppv of the year because he is just another worker.

Bps look at the last 6 months of tv as far as creativity goes.  They probably planned the HHH win as soon as Jericho won the belts figuring that he woul dbe Austin/Rock level over for Mania, when he wasn't, either they couldn't think of anything to do or it came down to "#### it, a McMahon is never wrong."

There really was no alternative after they booked themselves into a corner.  If they continued Jericho's lameduck run it still wouldn't draw.  They booked the champ as a lackey to the some bitch that the fans really don't want to see and expected the storyline to get over.  I'm not sure that it's all HHH's stroke, but it surely is bad, lazy, and stupid booking to lock yourself into a match without knowing if it will get over.

How about that Jericho? He's not over but he gets the Championship, pinfall victories over Austin and Rock multiple times, the boss' daughter as a manager and he won't drop the title unless it's at the biggest show in the year. What an evil son of a bitch.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21

Oh and...

HHH isn't fucking Steph in the ass right now while making her wear the titles and calling her Jericho...

Guest Sakura

Exactly, Some Guy. The writing team just sucks. Jericho winning wouldn't have been any better.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21

And why wouldn't giving Jericho the win the give him some credability and then dropping the belts to HHH at Backlash be a good idea?

Guest Tony149

I think the WWF knew well in advance they wanted HHH winning the WWF Title at WM. The original plan was probably a face HHH vs. a heel SCSA. I don't think the WWF expected the lack of face reaction HHH receives. Was Jericho over? Not as much as he should of been. It had more to due with bad writing than anything else.

Triple H has been gone for three months and gets the ME at Mania and wins?  That is crap.  No one can defend HHH right now.  If he wanted Jericho to get "that special something" he should have put him over like a MAN.

Just to play devil's advocate, haven't we been wanting the WWF to look farther into the future than one week in the first place?
