Cena to make hip hop album

Recommended Posts

No, no, no.

Perhaps you didn't read my original post, RAP sucks. I trust when you reread it you'll see the error of your ways.

Hey, I'm not alone. Rap aggravates me, I actually destroyed a radio, when my cousin put started listening to Tupac.

Ah, Tupac. A true poet. I heard before he died his next album was going to be called "An Ode to Ho's, Yo!" or a "A Sonnet of Motherfucking Shit"

I would have liked to hear those. I couldn't get enough of that funky messiah.

I've listened to him, and he just pisses me off, not as much as Eminem.

Eminem doesn't piss me off as much as Ja Rule. I love how he "disses" DMX when it's obvious the only reason he hates him is because they sound exactly the same.

Don't act like an ignorant fool or people will start treating you like one. Aside from his gangsta image, 2Pac was an extremely articulate man with a good outlook on life. Listen to Dear Momma, thats more sensitivity than you can shake your stick at. Unfortunately, you cleatly have no idea what you are talking about thus you can't engage in a healthy debate. You are being narrow minded and pigheaded.

Pot and kettle banky, Pot and kettle.

I KNOW he was articulate. However this martyr image this has been given to him is what I was trying to parody. Oh, and who are you to tell me what I know and don't know about banky? You talk out your ass on an hourly basis you clownshoes.

How so? Whats to parody? None of his songs had the word 'ho' in it. I can count on one hand the songs were he is extremely angry. His songs weren't as thuggish as rap critics would like to think. Oh, but he has thug life tattooed on his chest.

You clownshoes? Pardon?

Uh Banky just like the man you called a tool Mole, the signature IS A JOKE. It's an ad for the Sanctuary, another board. It takes about getting clowned by 50 Cent. Read the sig retard.

And Zsaz, DMX and Ja-Rule have a beef that DMX feels Ja-Rule became a pussy. Not that they're feuding because they sound the same. Do yourself a favor and not comment on rap if you don't any of it.

Well you have half a sentence where you kind of insult him. Ok, let me re-phrase then:

You like 50 Cent - Nuff said.

Oh yeah, he was no gangsta. How did he die by the way?

Oh yeah, shooting. That doesn't sound like a gangsta to me. He has been linked to the LA gang scene, it's only revisionist bullshit history like the crap you're spewing that says otherwise. Stop being a fucking apologist for him. He was killed because he was stupid and was in league with the wrong people. Now, as much as I find debating emotional maturity with a guy by the name of TheCynicalHateMongerFromHell darkly ironic I have other things to do, thank you, and goodnight.

Are you saying everyone who gets shot by a gang is a thug? Are you saying that? C'mon man. Tupac's record label was connected to a gang, not him. Secondly, a popular theory on 2Pac's death was that Suge set him up because Shakur was planning on leaving Death Row. While he may have had mutual ties with a gang, I wouldn't consider him part of one. The message of his music reached much further than thugs, bitches, hoes, gangs, and poppin' caps. He was consider a poet by many before he died, so even mocking the fact people call him one now because he died is false. Clearly, you have no grasp of the hip hop scene, the comings and going of it, or its history. You have your own narrow minded opinion, with no actual substance to back it up. Oh, look at how he died. Thats lame reasoning. JFK was shot, was he a thug too? C'mon, how he died doesn't equate to what kind of person he was.

Don't you all know Tupac is alive? He faked his death and he's building a secret army with Jim Morrison.

Seriously though, most anyone who says rap sucks is misinformed for this reason: rap is a very cultural form of music. If you don't 'get' it, it's because that isn't a culture you've experienced. Personally, I like it like I like everything else. There's no musical style I don't listen to.

"Cena has drawing power reminiscent of Snoop"

I'm so not even gonna touch that with a fucking 10 foot pole. That's about as ignorant as the "Look at that new up and comer 50 Cent he made it big quick" comment.

The post said "Cena has a drawling style, reminiscent of Snoop." Read a post carefully before you flip a lid. (though admittedly, I myself did a double take on that one ;))

Bravo. Back in the day, I never liked Tupac, but that was mainly just because he was West Coat. Obviously in retrospect that's just silly, but I was a kid, so whatever. His music was quite respectable though. And Tupac always had a major martyr vibe to him (another reason I didn't like him), long before he actually became one.

Tupac's music was only a positive for society; what more can you ask from an artist?

Indeed, I didn't even catch that until now. Read the post carefully next time.

I read it and re-read it and still can't believe it. Would you mind elaborating because the way I'm percieving it is that Cena has a Snoop-like aura that could make him really good.

I'm not a 50 fan either. I'm advertising the SANKTUARY.

Man, I'm a hiphop fan 4 life. But everything on the radio sucks. I've completely given up hope.

Untill I get a good non-mainstream station in my area...I will not listen to anything on the radio except the jazz stations.

Its really, really important for me to have cds with me whenever I enter a car. I'm seriously fed up with same rotation of 10 bullshit songs all day.

You know how Snoop has that layed back, lazy style of rapping? I meant that Cena has a similar vocal inflection. That's what a drawl is. Just the voice.

A John Cena cd will never sell, I don't care if Dre produces it.

And please, don't come on here being igorant dissing Tupac. The guy is admired more than anybody on this board will ever be. He has the kind of fans that will defend him to the end, and he has people around the world who worship him. He has way more fans than most of your favorite Artists. Besides, dissing Pac, is like dissing African Americans in general, because he's right up there with Malcom and Martin.

If your going to diss Rap music, diss Ja Rule and Nelly. Don't diss one of the top 10 most important Black people of all time.

Where did Dre producing his CD come in?

Because that just supports the Pro-Tupac side of the debate more....

He might be ignorant towards Tupac's willingness to provide a message in song rather than the same old blunts and bitches shtick but atleast he can spell ignorant.

He's more admired than anyone on the board....ooooweee hot damn I feel so lowly now. Way to drop my self esteem I think I'll cry now..

The people who worship Tupac I feel are insane. He wasn't a martyr at all. He got shot because of his gang dealings. He didn't die to save children in the ghetto.

And that last statement is the stupidest bullshit I have EVER fucking heard. I hate Tupac, so maybe I should drop some n-bombs too since I'm already disrespecting the black folk immensely.

Top 10 Most Important Black People? Suuuure

Give me the names of more important people in hip hop history? Just curious.

The other guy said One of the 10 most important black people not One of the 10 most important hip hop artists.

Saying that Tupac was one of the 10 most important black people is simply ridiculous. Not only that, but it's an insult to the actual important black people who actually did things of importance.

If you can prove this, along with the Secret Aliance with Elvis Presley, I'll like rap.

I just have one question, what is the difference between "rap" and "hip-hop?"

When did I say he wasn't one of the bigger names in Hip Hop?

Man, you said he wasn't one of the most important people in hip hop, thus I asked you who was. I didn't mention anything about being a bigger name. Honestly, you need to read the posts before you post.

Wow, I have to wonder if you really know anything about Tupac, or are you just dissing him because you don't like Rap music? Most people that talk shit about Tupac don't really know what he did. Let me explain a little bit.

He opened up the doorway for the young Blacks in the Ghetto. He made people see what was really going on, and he opened their eyes. A lot of his songs had a positive message, and like he said, he might of not changed the world, but he sparked the idea in the head of the guy who will.

10 most important Black men in history, I stand by it. If you really knew about the situation, you might agree.

Music, Evenflow. Yes, Shanghai I don't know a thing about rap nor do I like it...this coming from the person who said Tupac is on the same level of people who helped give blacks equal rights.

Yep, might as well move this to music since this has nothing to do with wrestling anymore.
